I too get very depressed in the winter time especially. I live in Maine we get such cold temperature's in the winter, & lot's of snow.🦞🏕️🌄🐳⛵🐟🦌🐻🦨🦔🐿️🦫🦉🦅🦆🦝🦊🐰🦃🦀🫐🍓 I dream of summer time, the spring flowers, 🌹 🏵️ 🌻 🌼 🌺 🌷 🌸 💮 ☔ ☀️ 💜 💙 & I try to focus on the positive, for the most part, as much as I can. I pray everyday, and sew as often as possible. I think April is a hoot. She is so funny, & real.

Hi Jenny, Shirley and Jenny (2!), I suffer from serious health issues and the depression that accompanies the despair of knowing I will not get better. Unlike your cold weather Jenny (2) I live in a tropical country and the relentless heat and humidity most of the year adds to my misery. If it wasn’t for April and like-minded people who share their passion for quilting with laughter and empathy, my days would be a lot bleaker too. I wish you all nothing but the best and hope that, one day, we will overcome depression and learn to smile again. Good choice of fabric for this pattern. It looks fabulous! The Ombre colors really make the quilt interesting. I also had a mistake in cutting my last quilt, and had to sew pieces together to make it fit. Still came out ok, and I dont think most people would even notice the extra seams. It is good that you show the mistakes and how to fix them. Really appreciate it.
