I regret that Mike Stone doesn't explain more (also in his book) what really happened during the 4 times he met Elvis, I also regret that he explained what Priscilla told him in the name of Elvis (it's only what she pretended that Elvis would have told her, we can't be sure that it was actually what Elvis told her). For instance, it was Priscilla who lied to Elvis by pretending that Mike Stone did not want to let Lisa go to Vegas. What else did she lie about ?

Mike Stone is a poor idiot who got fooled by Priscilla. Elvis was never in love with Priscilla and if Jerry Schilling hadn't given Priscilla information she wouldn't have been able to marry him either. Elvis dumped Priscilla at Mike Stones and Priscilla even wanted to go back to Elvis but Elvis said NO.

The irony of this sordid tale is that Elvis recommended Mike Stone to Priscilla as a Karate instructor, and encouraged her to continue her training in the martial arts. She obviously didn't need a lot of encouragement.

Elvis asked Ed Parker to be her instructor (Elvis said that he trusted him because he was his friend). She preferred Chuck Norris who was working with Stone. The first time she saw Mike Stone she thought "I want that guy" : she was sitten beside Elvis during their second honeymoon and was already having an affair with her dance instructor.

I was in the Navy at Pearl Harbor during this saga. My friend Benny the Jet Urquidez was in Hawaii to fight in Mike Stones tournament. Because my friend was the best fighter in the world. Because of him I got to ride around in a limousine with them every where they went. I had met Pricilla once before this time. It was one of the best times I ever had.

Of course it is very convincing. Surely Elvis would have taken advice from someone to whom he had dumped a forgotten wife in the cellar. One who left his pregnant partner to be treated like a puppet by Priscilla who wanted to pressure her husband with Scandals. But after Elvis reacted in a glacial manner, Priscilla begged Elvis on her knees to give up the divorce, leaving Mike Stones who had taken her seriously. But Elvis demanded a divorce and both Priscilla and Mike made the whole world laugh.
