Radio commentary is far better than TV commentary and when I watch cricket it’s always TV on and link it up to the Radio commentary, On Radio you have to paint more of a picture of what’s going on rather that just saying a few words even few minutes. Best statistician ever on TV or Radio was Brad Frindall (The Bearded Wonder)and Andy Zaltzman (Zalts) they real do their homework before each match and know their stats better than anyone My all time commentary team would be Johnathan Agnew aka ‘Aggers’ (main presenter) Henry Blofeldaka ‘Blowers’ (Commentator) Christopher Martin-Jenkins aka ‘CMJ’ (Commentator) Brian Johnson aka ‘Johnners’ (Commentator) Alison Mitchell (Commentator) Alex Hartley (Summariser) Phil Tufnell aka ‘Tuffers’ (Summariser) Graham Swann (Summariser) Alistair Cook (Summariser) Tony Cozier (West Indies games) Jim Maxwell (Ashes matches) Prakash Wakankar (Indian games) Brad Feindall aka ‘The Bearded Wonder’ (Stats) No one else would do it any better

Boycott for Nasser, nobody spoke more direct than him. And his Yorkshire drawl was gold! Chappell for Lawry - Better voice and he made certain predictions during the match which forced viewers to stick on and see whether he got it right. Cozier for Bishop - His observations as a broadcaster and commentator were spot on, especially in the West Indies. Isa Guha is by far the best female commentator out there, her charisma, voice, and humour are spot-on.

I suppose it's fair to say that the English (people from this thing called England) make the best commentators because they are bloody good storytellers to begin with. They enunciate, they pause and they build things up just as required but the problem is some of them are too damn insinuatory as well - Nasser Hussain, for instance, cannot go to bed without a small diss towards the IPL or Indian cricket in general. But he is still exceptional on air and so are his compatriots Atherton, Butcher, Morgan, etc. My personal favourite storyteller is David Gower but the best f*ckin voice out there belongs to Ian Ward
