How could they not even mention Tony Cozier for more than 1 second??? He was amazing. I remember the times when the team was Harsha, Tony Greig, Ravi Shastri, Tony Cozier, Ian Chappel, Geoffrey Boycott and Alan Wilkins. The 90s version of them.

Modern bias here but this is my list: > Ian Bishop for sense of occassion. > Harsha for the joie de vivre of cricket > Mark Nicholas for wordplay > Nasser and Athers because they work well together. > KP for his edginess and calling it like he sees it

Radio commentary is far better than TV commentary and when I watch cricket it’s always TV on and link it up to the Radio commentary, On Radio you have to paint more of a picture of what’s going on rather that just saying a few words even few minutes. Best statistician ever on TV or Radio was Brad Frindall (The Bearded Wonder)and Andy Zaltzman (Zalts) they real do their homework before each match and know their stats better than anyone My all time commentary team would be Johnathan Agnew aka ‘Aggers’ (main presenter) Henry Blofeldaka ‘Blowers’ (Commentator) Christopher Martin-Jenkins aka ‘CMJ’ (Commentator) Brian Johnson aka ‘Johnners’ (Commentator) Alison Mitchell (Commentator) Alex Hartley (Summariser) Phil Tufnell aka ‘Tuffers’ (Summariser) Graham Swann (Summariser) Alistair Cook (Summariser) Tony Cozier (West Indies games) Jim Maxwell (Ashes matches) Prakash Wakankar (Indian games) Brad Feindall aka ‘The Bearded Wonder’ (Stats) No one else would do it any better

Boycott for Nasser, nobody spoke more direct than him. And his Yorkshire drawl was gold! Chappell for Lawry - Better voice and he made certain predictions during the match which forced viewers to stick on and see whether he got it right. Cozier for Bishop - His observations as a broadcaster and commentator were spot on, especially in the West Indies. Isa Guha is by far the best female commentator out there, her charisma, voice, and humour are spot-on.

Isa Guha is amazing as a host & as a commentator, who emotes excitement like Lawry-she really gets the production side of things better than anybody since probably Benaud. I would probably have her as the host & Benaud on commentary-grew up with him & he is the best I have heard/seen-he knew the art of less is more, something sadly lacking from most of the commentators in this era-especially the Australians.

I suppose it's fair to say that the English (people from this thing called England) make the best commentators because they are bloody good storytellers to begin with. They enunciate, they pause and they build things up just as required but the problem is some of them are too damn insinuatory as well - Nasser Hussain, for instance, cannot go to bed without a small diss towards the IPL or Indian cricket in general. But he is still exceptional on air and so are his compatriots Atherton, Butcher, Morgan, etc. My personal favourite storyteller is David Gower but the best f*ckin voice out there belongs to Ian Ward
