IT IS NOT A FLAG!!!!! It is "THE KING'S COLOUR" it is very very special to the Royal Air Force as it was given to them by the King and has Religious and other meanings to all who serve in the RAF

The airmen marching with the colours was called 'The Queens Colour Squadron' - now 'the Kings Colour Squadron' I served in the RAF and the colours are very special to us.

It is The Kings Colour. The Royal Navy ha their colour, the guards regiments have their colours though they call it a standard, other army regiments have their colours and The RAF have their colour.

The new RAF Colours weren't really revealed as they were carried as they should be, Furled, to prevent them blocking the sight of the rank carrying it because the Colours would have been dangling in his or her face..

Why would people be stunned? Visitors to England would not even know its new colors. Most English folks would also not know or care they have new colors. Title is just another click bait. This is becoming an annoying problem on KZbin.

Contrast the discipline and bearing of the RAF Bandsmen and Regiment airmen with the scruffy appearance and sloppy demeanour of the police officers who came out to open the gate. Met Police can surely do a lot better than that..

@@paulsheward3325 Simple. Only the police have the legal authority to arrest civilians. And, yes, the guards' rifles will be loaded with live ammunition which would be used in an extreme circumstance, but that does not include dealing with drunk or unruly spectators which is the job of the police officers

They are the Kings Colour Squadron and hold the ceremonial colour of the RAF. Though they are operational their primary role they provide guards of honor, and most notably last year brought the Queen back to London
