With the deal breaking, in my first Cedh tournament, Mattie and I had a first hand experience with that. Storm player said they would mox and pass, then attempted to keep going. Breya's first kill that day.

yes i remember that exact moment. it's a social game. if you are going to make a deal then you need to keep it. otherwise you win the battle and loose the war

At least with the Topdeck circuit tournaments, you can not scoop at instant speed outside of an emergency or if a judge approves it.

@TurningPointMeta I personally like it. It holds players to a level of integrity during tournaments and keeps games consistent. Even in cedh testing, my play groups play by comp REL.

​@@Eric_theMAD_Kingdefinitely makes a difference, especially if you're testing a deck or practicing for a tournament. But I think it can be a huge hurdle for some.

first time I learned about commander was in 2018. I turned my 60 card cat deck into a 100 cards somehow, then was told I couldn't play since I didn't have a green white legendary. One of the guys at the table gave me their Karametra, and I had hella fun playing this format. It's been 6 years since I played commander, but I've been collecting some Eldrazi cards to build a 5 colour deck focused on colourless. Is playing Eldrazi (I've heard similar things about infect?) really that hated? Can I bring my soon-to-be eldrazi deck to locals and still make friends?

All about that turn zero conversation. Are you all good with eldrazi, infinite combos, fetch lands, original dual lands or whatever it may be. Maybe you have to tune it up or tune the deck down depending on the pod. That’s why I like cedh, they are all tuned to the best cards in the format
