Good investment. Underwood will make Michigan far more than what he is paid.

I'm all for it just so as long you don't get them a cheesburger. That's crossing the line.

People have a hard time making ends meet and they have a hard time listening to how pampered college athletes 'labor' and get these lavish payouts. It's hard to swallow.

I guess the athletes families weren't having a hard time making ends meet for their entire lives as well. Maybe these kids couldn't afford college if it weren't for sports. Maybe the colleges and unis making hundreds of millions off of their backs need to pay up. College athletes have to get up and train, then go to class, then go to practice, then study for classes and also study a play book. Think about how much work college took for the rest of us and now add having to play "professional sports" while not getting paid. They aren't pampered. They're getting paid their due. Free market baby.

they’re not playing professional sports. It’s amateur sports until they make it pro. Doesn’t matter how much money is involved, that doesn’t make it professional. What about military and veterans? Should they get money from the defense budget since it’s getting billions of dollars a year in tax dollars? What about most teachers that are underpaid? I could go all day, but you’re convinced amateur athletes deserve millions of dollars when many of them are super ignorant and not intelligent. That isn’t deserving. A free education is more than most people get.
