Same, he makes Seph look incredibly easy. Hardest thing I've been struggling with is the timing for bair, I always fast fall before I get it out

@@mcmcribblit9603 my tip for that is that since Sephiroth's aerials are extremely easy to cancel, don't fast fall until the move actually comes out, or just instant aerial

I think the biggest thing people miss about the Flare cancel is that you have to be holding B through the charge and as you cancel with jump, shield, etc. I do plan to make a flare cancel video that will go beyond just the “how to” and will also explore uses, baits, option coverage, etc

I kid you not I went on to youtube cause I kept failing the input and didn't know what I was doing wrong and was going to comment that question on your most recent video when I saw this. turns out you do it the same way I thought you do it I'm just "unpracticed" (aka bad) at it. I keep not flicking back straight up and either shoot myself away from the stage or overcorrect and turn back around

Did People Really not learn how to recover to stage? This is one of the most needed Tech's in the game! i don't wanna remember how long it took me to recover to stage properly with lucina and marth's up special. i always ended up doing it the wrong way with them. Playing Ganon taught me how to b-reverse up b real fast. After the first few rockcrocks (back before they buffed his upb making it hard to do) I realized I had to recover reversed basically every time

Awesome! I don't do the B Reverse, though like you did in this video. For my own technique, I use Octaslash and then I reverse my position on my opponent instead, knocking them into the blast zone. I did this once on Terry in the King of Fighters' Stadium and it was EPIC!
