Goodness Richard, the synchronicity is impeccable... The whole day was going around the thoughts of how I want to organise my life as a freelance artist always going in and out of new group processes. Thank you so much for all this (for me new) insights! At 13.57 I started to tear up and so checked, and indeed one tribal part in me 'the community channel' I always thought it was my Moroccan side of my upringing, as I barely saw it ever around me in the Netherlands. The always bringing food and gifts and many spontaneous visits in person :D. I get very loyal and close to the groups around me, being a freelance artist it is a continum of uniting and letting go of the groups. Longing deeply for a more stable tribe I'm realising now.

I have 6 out of 10 tribal gates. And I’m very much a YOU’RE EITHER WITH US OR AGAINST US type of person. Period. 1/3 Manifestor with Cross of Rulership with gate 26 in sun and mercury. 44 unconscious Pluto. 45 in earth. 21 in my unconscious mars. 37-40 emotional wave in north and south node. I appreciated your advice about being clear and strict with boundaries. I’ve recently worked through a lot of that work. I also appreciated the note warning non-tribal energy types to not cross people with tribal energy. It’s nice to be recognized for how I naturally operate. I’m constantly assessing my relationships and any agreements/bargains to determine if it’s a risk or a liability. It has to make sense for the tribe and has to keep me in a place of controlling MY resources, energy, time etc. I have been transitioning and making a lot of changes in my business lately and I haven’t been able to put words to some of the uneasy energy I felt when working with people that just didn’t feel like MY people even though they’re technically a part of the collective tribe. But overall I have been making notes of any moments where it felt like someone was “crossing me” in a way that wasn’t necessarily anything wrong but just not working for me.

Thanks so much Richard. Another video which I very much enjoyed. I have the 21 in my personality sun (beside only individualistic channels) and I love to be in control and to keep an overview of what is going on. However I often overstepped peoples boundaries without being intentionally. It especially does not work with my family which often depletes me energetically. Being a pure generator I now understand that I have to wait to be asked to to take on control and then listen to my Sacral. It’s tough to say the least. I laughed when you talked about the friend who is primarily tribal. The one, who can make you forget about your angst and worries, however, watch out if you cross lines with her. My best friend who has 27-50 is exactly like that. 🤣

Thank Conny. The 21 in an Open Will/Ego/Heart Center is the wisdom to see where control is needed or where there are underlying control and/or hidden controls - the Shadow side of you may over-amplify your attempting to control, hence the over-stepping you refer to. And yes, I am super-aware of what happens if I cross a Tribal person and I do not do it lightly and only if I deem it necessary. I accept others have their own Designs and I respect who they are. I empower people to be themselves, even if their chemistry is very different from my own. Above all else, I am a force for people to awaken to their own truth, not to see the world as I do. We all bring something of value to others because we are different :)

Human Design has helped me gain a better understanding of why 'control' is such a big topic in my life and how to deal with it in a healthier and a more balanced way. Thank you Richard. This is a very interesting video. Although I only have the 27 and 44 gate on the tribal circuit, I can relate with what you are saying. I am the one who usually takes care of the sick members of my family, their medicines, their medical test, etc. I have my own animals which I love very much, but I also take care of the strays in my neighborhood. And usually when I see someone in need, I feel the need to help them. Another odd thing is that almost all of my close relationships have the 50 gate in their design.

Ah yes Seven Stars, the theme of caring is there in the 27, if you are a Generator or MG, then this power to care is in you and in that sense you have that Tribal energy. Absolutely you will have 50th Gate people in your life - the genes in you will make sure of that :)

I have gate 27 and my husband the 50 but we are projectors. Both splenic. Him a 5/1. I have the 45 and the 6, My 27 is my south node. How does this work fit projectors. We both have 44 too xx

I have 5 hanging gates in tribal circuitry 44,49,40, 54 and 59, but no channels. I have very developed sense of smell and I love to touch ( only a few people that I love). My only channels are 43-23 and collective abstract 46-29, and yet I recognize a tribal person immediately ... Maybe because I grew up among them?

I only one channel defined in my chart and its the 37-40. I find myself not being able to relate to the Tribal Circuitry (at least the general description). I guess to give context of my chart this channel is defined by my Personality Nodes (Gate 40-Conscious North Node & Gate 37-Conscious South Node). I often find myself moving towards being alone and an aversion to collaborating with others.

Yes, the 40th Gate is also a Gate of Aloneness if the Other is constantly needing to to be the one who delivers. But if you have the right people around you, then it is a Channel that loves to support the Tribe. Food for thought randomname :)

I don’t have the 49 defined but my conscious Sun is 19.1? I don’t have 26 defined but my unconscious Sun is 44.3? As a Manifestor I do not feel I am part of the tribe? They seem a bit dangerous? I tend to be a loner.I don’t have 59 defined but my conscious Jupiter is 6.5? I don’t have 32 defined, but my conscious South Node, Mercury and Mars are 54.4, 54.3, and 54.2 respectively? Crowds have always made me uneasy?

Yes, Francis. So it appears that there is no Tribal Life Force in you, but there are Tribal themes in the Gates you list. So you are not someone who would be wanting to belong to any Tribe. However, with the 54th Gate three times, it is likely you have the ambition to succeed in the material (and / or spiritual) world. With the 19.1 there is the tribal theme of resources and may be a propensity to be sensitive about being rejected or accepted by others. The bigger theme is that you're life is about transformation of yourself and others. (See my video on Incarnation Crosses) But again, without seeing the whole chart I can only give you partial insight into your chart in this regard. :)

I’m not tribal in the sense of having any channels that are tribal but I do have 3 ego tribal gates and 1 defence tribal gate, how could this play out in a community or tribe that are very ego tribal for example I have the 19,37,26 and 27 my friends all have the 26-44 channel and some have the 37-40 too with even one of my friends, my best friend who I met through work is a 4/1 sp projector with 19-49,37-40 and 26-44. I’m not driven by tribe so much I have the 41-30 with the drive to experience something more pretty could we say. I’ve been wondering what it’s like for them, do they think I’m a fraud? Do they not see me as one of their own? I’m at a stand still here Richard hope you have time out of your day to read this message and possibly see my point of struggle I’m trying to understand it all being a 1/3 projector with 17-62 channel of getting my thoughts organised.

Hi Christine, The Circuitry is defind in the image I showed in this video. A Life Force is a full channel composed of the two Gates in different Centers. So I believe you mean you have a Gate in the Tribal Circuit so what that is and where it is in the chart and what other Channels you have would have to be taken into account. The Gate is Tribal which will give a Tribal accent in the theme of the Gate and Line to whatever else is in the Center. @@christinehex1238 I'm NO expert here but it's possible to have 7 gates within this circuit and no channels but I'm guessing that those people would have channels elsewhere which would imply that another circuit could predominate... If you're a Reflector though (no centres) you could under these circumstances be a tribal being!

Well I learned even more about 'my circuitry' with this one, Richard... and laughed! Aye indeed! But isn't the 49 also about insensitivity to animals - the slaughterer, the fisherman, the hunter etc.? Is it not about desire to hit as well as caress? I knew someone with this 19-49 channel who was an amateur boxer which to me was a legitimate way to channel this aspect!!

Hi Cassandra. No. Most 19/49's have a loving relationship to animals, the butcher is also the Gate of emotional principles. It's a long story and this is not the place to go into it all :)

Hmmm Sure I can agree with your statement Timothy. But vampiric parasitism isn't something I would immediately attach to the theme of support in the Tribe. Human Design truth is conveyed in the language of truth, hence me giving a broad brush overivew of Tribal themes. Opinions are specifically tied to the Logical gate 17. So not everyone has 'fixed opinions' but generally speaking everyone, in the mix of energies and attributes and propensities that make the Design of each one of us, it is true to say the it is more difficult for some than others to be objective about where others are coming from.
