Coming from an ol Georgia boy. I've learned from the old timers the rut hits the same same time every year within a few days or so. Rather that buck has on his snow boots or flip flops he's doing everything the same time each year and within the few days

I’m always shocked just how many deer you see each sit on public land - especially sneaking up on them. The area you are in either have a much higher density of deer than from where I am from or a much better hunter. (Most likely both 😂). Either way always enjoy watching your videos, especially when I’m unable to get away from commitments to hunt. Good luck the rest of the season

Catman: I like the way you hunt and are not afraid to mix it up so to speak. Your photography always tells the story and surprisingly well for just yourself handling the camera. Keep it up as your my first "go to" video for a summary of the annual hunts. FYI - I live in Canada.

I have seen a couple doe eat the locust pods but mostly bucks. That's a main source of one of the spots I hunt. It's next to residential housing, food sources are limited so I figured that's why they eat them. But maybe they really do like them. You are the first channel to mention them and like I said I try and find them to set up on. Awesome video as always man!

I’ve hunted a couple of farms through the years and the honey locust have always been a deer magnet. I’ve seen both does and bucks eating them. On one farm we had a beautiful clover plot and the deer would show up and eat the locust pod all along the edges of the woods before they transitioned to the clover. I did see a buck stand on his hind legs once to reach them out of the tree. Great video and good trigger restraint on that nice buck!
