Well done PAP govt 🙏🇸🇬 Decades of cleaning up the waters have given us fruits. Otters are high class they only live in the clesnest and purest waters.

These chaps are there but we don't know their timing. So better not go looking for them or you will spend your holiday sitting by the Singapore River.

there are 4 otter clans in Singapore - west in Jurong, north, around macRitchie and then the central one.. like the monkeys in Singapore, they are very territorial - can be seen at any day.. and also.. not be seen...

wrong.. only if they feel a threat.. - i have been close to the otter clan which live in the west - 16 of them.. they were swimming, running around on the grass and i just observed them... looked at them, and they looked back at me

How expensive is a big koi? And how many otters does it feed?
@SingaporeCityWalks
@SingaporeCityWalks Жыл бұрын
A big koi can cost upwards of $10k. An otter eats 15% to 20% of their body weight each day. So an otter will eat several fish in one day. They do not share their fish unless they caught a really big fish which they cannot eat completely.
@PaulaBean
@PaulaBean Жыл бұрын
@@SingaporeCityWalks OMG $10K, that is indeed a big investment in a fish which you don't want these otters to have as a snack!

They look cute, but will attack as a group if they feel threatened. They have very sharp teeth. They are territorial creatures and will attack other otter groups that enter their territory. They look friendly, but they are not.
