I dont think that Taliban will be bad either. Anyone who is a guest (any alien to our land is a guest)have a right to be treated nicely and protected. But if a guest takes advantage (by voilating the hospitality of the Pathans) he will be asked to leave. Pathans have a high self respect for themselves and respect for everyone else, including Hindus. There are many proverbs in our language about the friendships with Indian people.

It is evident that you have not traveled to these lands. Yes there is some religious prejudice against Christians, Hindus and Sikhs in the rural areas but even there it is very rare. And in cities like Lahore and Karachi if there is any it is negligible. I know because I was in a catholic high school. All my teachers and principal were Christians and Hindus, I never saw or heard any prejudiced thing ever said to them.

I am a Vada Desha Vadama who belongs to the Shroutha Smartha Religion. I belong to the Naidrava Kashyapa Gothra . The family traditional History (since the Krishna Yajur Veda Period, the prior History is not known but commences with Kashyapa, who with Athri, Brhigu, Kurhsa, Vasishta, Gautama,and Agnirasa, received the Prathamo Upanishad from Brahma somewhere on the Eurasian grasslands) commences in the Shakthi Peetha of Pushpa Vihar (Peshawar). My ancestors came with Gandhari's retinue to Hastinapuri. They performed the Sarpa Yajna for Janamejaya after the great Civil War at Kurukshetra and then accompanied him South to perform his penance for genocide at Nagar Kovil and then sought the fruit of the sacrifice at Suchindrapuri (from which I take my name). Janamejaya thereafter became a mendicant. My ancestors were returning to the Narmada Valley when they were stopped by the rulers of Madurai who gave them land grants and requested them to remain there. They addressed them as "Aryar" (Arya with the suffix ar" out of respect) which got corrupted to Aiyer.

The middle class in big cities like New Delhi, Mumbai etc are about 32% of the total population in India, while in the smaller areas like most of Gujarat and Utter Pardesh the middle class falls to around single figures. These also happen to be the areas where a lot of racial hate is alive and well, India has a lot more racism than Pakistan. The poor caste are still treated like maggots, they still live in slums and they still don't have clean water or food.

Classic example of Freudian psychology, I said one sentence on race and suddenly its a card. Fact is there is racism in abundance in India, you may not know it but just ask a Dalit any time of the week and they will tell you. The Balochi people want a separate state for two reasons; first because the Balochi state is being ignored by the Pakistani government of their rights, second because they want a greater Balochistan uniting parts of Iran and Afghanistan.
