The only problem I have with the game is that the world becomes soulless the instant you finish the story. I hope the developers take a page from Skyrim’s playbook and make certain types of quests never ending. Random crop failures, floods, storms, raids (and not just on the main island), redecorating and remodeling quests, rare material quests, etc. If survival in most areas was kept a challenge and we always had something to do, I think the player base would explode.

You are correct, I love the game, I want to go play it, then I ask myself: (what will I do when I play?) I finished everything, built all rooms, bred all pets, made a self-sustaining farm with monsters, my food storage are full, and I am at the limit of villagers & monsters so I can't recruit anyone anymore, ... I finished the game and there is nothing else for me to do, not even NG+.

@@MGM_Think I still got many things to do. Build my big treehouse, build my castle and desert area, and doing some terraforming. I think it depends on the ideas the player has, to get much fun and playtime out of it.

We can only hope they exited development when they did yo work on DQB3. However, while a sequel was teased in the first game, I never noticed anything like that this time around.

I remember my first play through and spent so much time exploring every nook and cranny. Also trying to build the best I could for my people. By the time I finished the game and got the ultimate building tools I was sick of building. (Or at least felt no reason to build anything more or anything better) I agree a new game would need some tweaking in that respect. I’m trying a 2nd play in which I was going to hurry through the story to get the tools... but I always get distracted by trying to make my people happy so I can get gratitude for later use, etc. I also wish they would make it easier to know where my npc will work. Planning builds takes long enough. A simple outline on the map would be nice.

Ahoi there, I'll be waiting on the video about terrafroming. It's great idea^^ I usually use my golem to plane the landscape, but hence I like the grass tiles, I kind'a sad about the fact that he truns them into soil. So I already spent several houres farming grass blocks and putting them down to enlarge my Buildertopia... :)

Question! Can you have multiples of ANY monster in your towns? And I mean the same monster, not just variants. I want to get more killing machines, but im not sure if thats possible.

I didn't quite understand you explanation for the magnet block contraption part of the pit, what exactly was the reason you built it? You said "If you dont want to sleep each time" At 2:10 but I dont see how having the magnets changes anything from just having a pit with he creepy flowers. Is it because the slimes can open the door otherwise?

Hi Ben I have tried to build this but the push button doesn't activate the 2 red magnet blocks and I have 2up activators,2 down activators, 4 regular activators,and same distances in the video. Any ideas on what could be wrong? Thanks.

Which of the buttons get activated (pressed in)? Make sure that the push button has those activators pretty close to it. It has a radius of 2 blocks where it can interact with them and one level above and below.

@@Barbe you make 50 books which are made from grass, you place down 50 to get the naughty blueprint book, then you make any table and place a price tag on it. afterwards you wait till evening for your merchant to sell the books to your residents. (Merchants can be found on Iridescent Isles, the lava one)

How long does it normally take to get the slimes to become friends with you? or am I doing something wrong? I have defeated several of them on Laguna Perfuma using the poison needle but all I get is a bowl of liquid metal soup......😥

Chance of about 1in 3 I would say. Maybe you're just unlucky, but that means that you'll befriend them a lot more often afterwards

Pour améliorer l'amphore, il faut compléter 45 objectifs sur l'île de l'éveil. Je te conseille de toute façon d'essayer de tous les accomplir, car ce n'est qu'en complétant les 60 objectifs que tu obtiendra les jumelles (buildnoculars en anglais) qui te permettront de construire bien plus facilement. Pour t'aider , je te conseille la chaine de Murad Zero, qui a de nombreuses vidéos (en anglais) consacrées à la complétions de ces objectifs

@@lowip8 oui, l'amélioration de l'amphore te permets à la fois de récolter tous les liquides que tu ne pouvais pas récolter jusque là (lave, eau de mer, plasma) et aussi d'avoir le mode peu profond, où quand tu verse du liquide, tu n'as qu'un demi-bloc de hauteur (pas très utile, mais bon...) Par contre, fait gaffe avec la lave.. ça a tendance à vite être hors de contrôle : en effet, tout bloc de type roche qui se retrouvera au contact va assez rapidement se transformer d'abord en bloc de lave solide, puis en lave liquide, et ça peut vite te détruire toute une zone comme ça. Pour la canaliser, il y a l'obsidienne (la roche noire très dure que tu ne peux obtenir qu'avec le maillet ultime). Et je crois que la terre ça marche aussi, à vérifier. Le reste, je sais pas.

Creepy conservatory and other such "for the monsters" themed rooms. I usually build a room to include shane from the hargon followers during the part when starting the pyramid before going to the prison. But in the post game, I really wish to remove the infinite storm on unholy holm or get that nice red sky of malhalla and such a place to build stuff in the game.

I just realised something in game lol. Look at Lulu's hair. And the other hair you thats available at the start for girl (it might be dlc tho) Its the hair that's curled to one side. Its Lightning's hair from final fantasy 13, and Lulu's hair is her little sisters! Even the same colour lol. I groaned when I realised lol. Oh, I found a tip for food when doing the khrumble dun section. If you plant cactus spores, and use your sword on them when they are just the tip, they stay planted and regrow faster than if you wait for them to grow tall. But it only works like that when they are smallest. That way, you could get lots of cactus steaks to cook, saving you having to go hunt meat and mushrooms all the time lol

The best bet is to use a great sabrecat, not a chimaera. A great sabrecat has unlimited stamina.
