V. S. Sivaraman, f/ o . Swathisivaraman. What a bhairavi rendition. His kalapramanams in neraval reminds me . Madurai mani iyer, whom I heard countless times. Though 47 years passed his renditions lingering in my ears. Likewise . Sanjay will be rremembered. Thanks to music academy for conferring sangeetha kalanidhi this year 2015 without any lobby for a deserving vidwann . Sanjay.

Sanjay 's presentation represent innocence, which is mother of all arts. Bhairvi of north doesn't exist without komal re. He sings B.without stressing re. That means asawari jonpuri more bhavnatmuk then bhairvi. Jadugar gawaiya. Kya rang dkhaye.!!!

sowkhyamaana alapana. sahityam rendering ok (not being native telugu is a killer !!) In the swarams, at a point, the mridhangam was killing the singer and violinist.. ! :( sorry to say, not in the same class as the other two... thus, to put it without softening - the overall experience is, from high to medium-low, across the 40 minutes...
