Kay Adams Reacts to Davante Adams Landing Spots, Aaron Rodgers or Derek Carr Reunion? Surprise Team?

I mean - Holy Davante is everywhere. Insert The Office Michael Scott “ITS HAPPENING” gif here… Is it Up & Outta there for Adams? Long rumored, MUCH speculated by yours truly and some of the leagues smarties…. Is there something we’re possibly underreacting to here? I think so… a dream scenario, a road to a hollywood finish for one of our greats. A Notting Hill situation…he’s just a generational talent standing in front of a contender asking them to put a ring on it…
We had Rapsheet yesterday report that Davante would “prefer” to be traded, Schefter report that the Raiders are shopping him…and if you missed it…here’s what the man himself told me…
I just want Davante to be happy and to be relevant in January - whether it’s with the Raiders or somewhere else. He has made it very clear to me every time we’ve spoken that a Super Bowl is the only thing on his mind. This whole saga can end up putting him in a position to do that.
How much say does he actually have in where he ends up? That’s really the biggest question we don’t have an answer to…but if he does get moved, I want to run through some potential landing spots - in order of how likely I think they are to actually happen.
1) The most obvious is the Jets…a reunion with Aaron Rodgers. They can maybe send Haason Reddick on to Vegas to resolve that situation and clear some cap space. Davante absolutely pushes that team into contention.
2 & 3) The Steelers and Commanders are natural dots to connect…we know both were aggressively in on Brandon Aiyuk…but are they ready to contend right now?
4) How about the Saints and a chance to run it back with Derek Carr? Schefter is reporting this morning that they are high on his wishlist. Cap space is going to be a hurdle there, but Davante/Olave/Kamara/Shaheed sounds like the makings of an NFC contender to me.
5) Here’s my dark horse that I haven’t heard mentioned a ton - the Cowboys. It’s essentially a 1-year deal that Davante is on, so it wouldn’t jam them up for the future and they have the space to make it happen right now. Davante and CeeDee together would be lethal. You want to go all-in Jerry? Make it happen.
6) Could we see a return to Green Bay? An Adam Banks/Mighty Ducks situation. He clearly loved it there, he loves Jordan Love. The Packers seem to like their receiver room…but he could take that offense to another level.
7 & 8) And in the less than likely category, but still worth mentioning…the Chiefs and Bills. It’s hard to imagine the Raiders handing him over to KC as they go for a 3-peat with all of that bad blood, but KC is in desperate need of help at receiver and if the price is high enough…And as for the Bills…they don’t really have cap room…Brandon Beane would have to move some serious decimals around. “Everybody eats” has been a fun storyline…but was Sunday night at Baltimore enough of an eye-opener to make them get aggressive?
So there are the candidates I’m looking at right now…and no disrespect to the Raiders, but I think any of those would get him closer to that Hollywood finish I know he wants.

I heard First Take on ESPN saying that the LA Chargers and the Kansas City Chiefs were potential spots and I say that's absurd and near blasphemous. Ain't no way we're letting one of the best (top 3 not 3) receivers in the league go to a division rival. D Adams is also one of my favorite players in the game, alongside Lamar Jackson and the entire 49ers roster, and I'd love to see Te with the Saints and Carr. I'm iffy about him with the Jets because i see him leaving the year after next when Rodgers actually retires (ring or not). Washington would be dope!! I think he should stay away from the state of Texas as a whole. Also, it's not like there's bad blood between Adams and the Raiders, WE as Raider Nation LOVE DEVONTE ADAMS and want to see him in contention for a championship in the near future, regardless of what jersey he's wearing (as long as it's not the Broncos, Chargers, or Chiefs)!!!
