Listening to matruka panchakam for the second or third time. Just out of the world.I could enjoy Dushyanth explaining with beautiful examples giving the value of the mother as per other scriptures as well.I recollected some of the points which I had forgotten.From beginning to end he maintained the same tempo ,same enthusiasm same interest same humor .....I donot have words to appreciate nowords to express the joy.God bless dear Dushyanth.

First time hearing explanations to Mathruka Panchakam...tears come to us..Similarly while doing pinda pradanam at Gaya they are reciting 16 slokas which vividly describes the pain sacrifices and suffering she underwent and we give sixteen pindam to mother as a tribute to her sacrifices and sufferings and pain she bore. We cried when the scholar explained the slokas in detail. For father we give one pindam.Such is the exalted place given to mother in our Dharma

Soundarya Lahiri was composed in Kailasam, when Adhi Sankarar got that literature from Kailasam at that time Nandi was fighting with Sankarar to not to take that literature. In the fight Sakarar got only 50 slokams and He composed other 50 slokams.
