i mean, depending on how much the dlc costs, you might get more from a sequel for the same price. Just don't be mad if they choose to go with a sequel. It could be a good thing. They said the budget for this game was pretty low, so having demonstrated the demand for space marine games, a sequel could be good as it would receive a much larger budget

seeing armor and contested health of my teammates would make my job as a bulwark 100 times easier. also the melee weapon combos should be visible in the armory, not only during an operation after you are deployed. and fix the issue where you don't get the reward at the end of an operation.

You can see armor status. Pay attention to the frames around their little player picture by their health. If it’s gold with a little shield at the bottom, they have shields. If it’s frameless, no shields.

Why tf do we need space marine 3? Now that they have a working combat system and graphics engine, why not just give us 2-3 massive paid DLCs with new campaigns, new enemy factions etc. first? Give us stories with 15 missions and not 6. Give us 10 more pvp arenas. Give us new game modes. The solid foundation is already there. All they need to do now is to add new content.

Most likely because of licensing. The original developer no longer has the rights to the game, and may not even be around any longer, so unless the current license holder can get rights to SM1, it won’t get a remaster for the series X.

I'm just amazed they thought this was enough content for replayability with only 6 Operations with how much grinding you need for some classes. Not even a horde mode on release but down the road later on. The balance on content is a bit weird to be honest.

I understand keeping weapon/class restrictions in PVP but in co-op I wish we had more options. Like if tactical class can get plasma pistols, and or assault getting power swords. Campaign is fun in that you have all the weapon freedom, but it lacks customization and challenge of operations

Personally I think what could add longevity to this game is adding a system to the Operations working in a way like deep rock galáctics missions are generated then. They already have a menu with multiple planets. I think this would be a really cool addition. The missions would still be there and they just compliment eachother. Maybe that mode is a build up to the operation. Like the operation is a B to the campaign.

I would really love to see Assault having more two handed weapon options. Well honestly, I straight up want to see more melee weapon options. Two handed power swords, chain axes, two handed chain swords and axes, power spears etc... Would take SM2 to another lvl. Imagine being able to be faster with a power spear but do less damage but have the functionality if you want it... Would be a game changer for the better.

But I see your point they could surely give the Orks a revamp and rollout for an interesting horde encounter(s). Interested to see what comes at any rate

Space marine 2 has petty graphics, but THAT IS IT. U lot were sold a pup and loving it. The game is basic with canned missions, a very short campaign. So as you love parting with your money easily give it me. The game is a con and junk, i played 8 hours of it and got bored over the repetitive play.

If we do get a Space Marines 3, I wouldn’t want to go against the Necrons. And if we get another subclass in the game, I would want to see a Medical Subclass, so you can heal your brothers in the battle.

40k eternal crusade was a great PvP game. Playing as orks and scrapping with spikeys and beakys was great. Eldars were also playable. Vehicles in each faction were also present If other devs refine or make a game similar to this, it would be fun instead of making space marine 3 right away.

more classes, a crusade mode vs orks and nids at the same time fighting each other too in an endless horde mode, double the character lvls , expand the tree and builds, more weapons (power axes etc) and waaaaaayyyyyyy more cosmetics that's what I need personally for 200+ hours, I'm at 50-60 hours love the game maxed bulwark got all the ops done on ruthless maxed the relic weapons and finished the campaign, pvp will bring 50ish hours max as it looks pretty repetitive without any point to rewards at a point. feel like I want a destiny style Warhammer 40k game at this point honestly.

sm2 will never be a destiny style game. To introduce something like loot to a game thats already released is unheard of. They also said they're not gonna do new factions in sm2. Hold out hope for sm3

My thing is, I want to see grander scaled co-op, I've played it all, from every franchise and every horde mode and team based mission type, but every time, every game, the SCALE is small, Space Marine 2 is finally a game that seems capable of larger scaled co-op, we get up to 64 players in games like Battlefield but why does every franchise limit co-op to 3 or 4? Let's get a FULL SQUAD of 6 marines, all using their abilities in something more akin to raids in Destiny for example, but maybe replacing puzzles and so forth with dilemmas that require the squad of 6 dividing up according to context. Basically, I've been playing shooters of all types for years, and so have a lot of others, let's use all our collective skills to conquer something more difficult than what is a linear horde mode like what operations is now.

I think the parry system limits the scale. At least on tyranids, imagine a 6 player activity. The adds disproportionately target you, and you are unable to parry them because they stagger their attacks on you. They'd have to modify the current system. Like make parries more effective in 1v3+ kinda like it is in For Honor

He's a bit of a list of what I have in mind of: PVP- Fix the shock grenade, it is a all-in-one grenade that does shock damage and a flashbang those two things NEED TO BE separate - more asymmetrical Maps would be great - buff the Power sword at least for me I feel like it does more or less the same damage as a chain sword but I may need to do some more testing with it -heretic customization would be awesome to see

Just played PvP for the first time! 4 Matches 4 losses! Out numbered and out classed every time! Team balancing needs tweaking a little. Having Heretics lose every time is not balanced nor does it encourage continuous play nor is taking top players and sticking them all on the same team! Anyone else experienced this?

If you lose change lobbies. If you stay in against a winning team that's your own fault. Stay with your team and you'll have an easier time. Keep an eye on the scoreboard. If you're feeding them you need to change up what you're doing.

I wish gamers and developers would grow up a bit and think more deeply about this industry and art form before saying bullshit about games should return to some good old days where they aren't forcing an agenda or these marketing managers trying to shoe in every type of person under the sun into a game for representation sake, you are both wrong and acting stupid. All art is inherently political, if you don't understand that, then you don't understand art period. Games like spec ops the line had something to teach it's audience and I am proud of that dev team for doing it and doing it well. throughout human history we have told myths and stories to not only entertain but educate and we have a large portion of the western world screaming from their computer chairs or couches. "I DONT WANT TO LEARN ANYTHING! I HAVE REACHED MY FINAL FORM!" I find this pathetic and sad. Likewise people who think it's inspiring or brave to stick random cultural flash points into a work that doesn't necessitate it or handle it with the maturity and nuance it deserves are just pathetically pandering to audiences for brownie points and hopefully more money. I am evermore disappointed in society and the commentary we have about media that is ever present in our lives now. I think so many of the works if art that made me the person I am today were games and film with real heart and life lessons young people need. Yet so few these days seem aware that their games or TV or movies should be offering them. There is rarely seen games like the recent armored core 6 which challenge players to think deeply about the world and consequences to their actions. Right up there with the homeric plays imo for teaching people how to be responsible human beings. I hope whoever reads this thinks a little more deeply about these false dichotomies people often thrown up to confuse you, missing the forest for the trees out here!
