Steamworld Heist 2's announcement wasn't actually random. It was announced at the end of a Nintendo Indie World showcase. There are so many showcases happening all the time now, it's not surprising that it felt like a random announcement.

Schim - Finally! That cool shadow-hopping game. I saw a young kid doing the don't step on the cracks game the other day until her mother got to a really steep hill and had to come up for a reason to end the said game! This video-game by contrast looks infinitely creative in using shadows to hop or bop about in a daze of fun.

It’s planned to be release in 2024 and is a city-builder game based in Ancient mythological Rome. You can check out the reveal trailer from Abylight studios.

Edens Guardian looks like Aeterna Noctis with the teleport system. That was an all time Metroidvania.

2 of my fave indie games getting sequels! This is fantastic! I cannot wait for Steamworld heist 2 and Undermine 2. I don’t even care Undermine 2 looks the same. If it ain’t broke. I’m gonna have to play through the originals to get my ricochet and pick throwing skills back up to par. The other games on this list look good but those two genuinely made me smile.

I enjoy learning about upcoming games but I assumed it would have been ones coming in May and also not including kickstarter games which still have such a bad rep, Meifumado comes to mind as one that scammed everyone involved that backed it.

Because these games are upcoming as in “not yet released”. The channel does vids for games released or releasing on the current/next month but also vids for new trailers, which usually include ANY indie game. It is irrelevant if the trailer is for a game releasing in 3 months or 3 years. The whole point is to be informed of new trailers. If you prefer to be informed of games releasing SOON, then you’d prefer the other type of video. I hope now you do understand. Have a nice day.
