i love how so manny people are acting like its been decades since we had owner pokemon. like the only difference between owner pokemon and trainer gallery cards is a little bit of text.

Yes but you're supposed to cleanse them in Pokemon Go. I think having powerful dark corrupted pokemon in the TCG may go against their image. But who knows. I could be wrong and we get dark pokemon. I'm just a guy on the Internet.

Isn't the final year 2026 for SV? Base set came out mid 2023 I thought. Does that mean we get a new Pokemon game 2026 already?

The new games are rumored for 2026 to go along with the 30th anniversary. A TCG era usually starts a few months after the games come out, and since the games usually release in November, a new TCG era starts the year after.

I don’t think 2025 will be the last year of Scarlet and Violet for the TCG. Legends AZ is not the next main series game, it is a sub series like legends Arceus. Gamefreak seems to be aiming for the next main series game at the end of 2026, maybe early 2027. So I think 2 more full years of Scarlet and Violet cards.

It is an interesting one for sure. But saying that, Legends: Arceus was released Jan'22 and Scarlet and Violet were announced Feb'22, then released only 9 months later in the November. I'm definitely with you it's not looking that soon, but we never know, exciting times!

I would not be surprised if Scarlet and Violet has a 4 year cycle so they can align gen 10 with 30th anniversary and also the new main game which should come 2026 instead of 2025. Correct me if I am wrong but I think this has been confirmed. We have Pokemon Legends next year but they won't do the main series game.

Pretty sure they are not tag teams. They are Stevens Beldum and Stevens Metagross ex, like in two separate cards

Are we sure they’re going to be Tag-Team cards? The “&” could just refer to it including two pokemon. Tag-Team/owner/ex sounds a bit much lol

They could take a lot of approaches. For newer sets they just have a photo of the trainer and not list their name in front of the text. It'll definitely be interesting to see what we get

There will be two more years for sure. Gen 10 coming 2026 without a doubt. 2026 will be four years of megas 2025 will have two or three sets of owners pokemon/throw back

@@nicklinn5731 that and I like the art escaping the frame. While still keeping the original Pokemon card set art size. Lil yellow square vs the new full art. Those are cool too but I never understood why certain parts of the monster were cut off and other extended to card edge.

@@ultimatum. It might move a bit, but it's rarely a big deal. Base Charizard is an example of a card that's constantly reprinted. Blaine is also not a popular trainer, I think they'll focus specifically on "cool" trainers. N, Lillie, Marnie, Volkner, Cynthia etc

Jake, please note: the source of the rumour (Pokebeach) later clarified they don't stand by their Tag Team speculation anymore because of a misunderstanding. Owners Pokémon are still on the menu. I just think it's important people are not getting their hopes up. Keep up the content!

For the FIRST TIME in S&V I'm truly 100% excited to pick up singles again.. JUST PLEASE Pokémon don't make them look like they have hats or glass on them.. Sheesh I don't care if I'm in the minority but I can't stand that look.. 😆💯 Also, pre-built modern Pokémon decks have been trash for so long. HATE ME 🤣 but if Vintage got one thing right was the cool theme decks down! Bring the simple style back. All of the build and battles have not been interesting. OK MAYBE the Build and Battle Stadium.. sure but only for the packs. Once again a minority thought but IDC 😝
