I know your particular definition of an arctic blast which is an airmass originating from the arctic also known as the arctic circle. Though, I don't think it originated as far north as the arctic circle and therefore I believe the airmass isn't an arctic airmass even by your definition. It'd have to originate from the arctic circle to meet the criteria of your definition of an arctic blast being an airmass originating from the arctic and I don't believe it originated that far north. So, this isn't an arctic blast.
