I love how natural this looks - gorgeous colors that all play really well together. I like seeing you blend the different products together to make one piece. Highlights the versatility of epoxy. Beautiful as always and very fun to watch!

It’s all in how you choose your color palette and the order you put in the bucket. I love these pours because you never know exactly what you’re gonna get. 😊

I would like this with grays instead of bronze. More Grays and whites. What do you suggest?
@RK3Designs4 жыл бұрын
Mono tones of grays and white are beaut and I’ve actually got a video coming out soon on that 😊😊

If you're going to epoxy laminate countertops do you have to round the edges for the epoxy to run over

For best results yes. 👍🏼👍🏼

When using several colors and resins, do you ever run into working time issues? Looks awesome!

How do you know how much say, the Alumilite white for a base to use per oz of epoxy? I’m getting ready to do the marble and I haven’t a clue of how much to use. I have 18 cu ft to cover.

I just put a few drops at a time until I get the opacity I’m looking for. A good rule of thumb is if you can see writing on your stir stick, it’s not opaque enough. One bottle of dye will tint a 2 gal kit of epoxy. 😊

Once this dries is it finished, or does it require a topcoat?

Can you achieve this striated effect by layering paints in your bucket, then doing a dirty pour, but NOT TILTING the surface? I'm trying to achieve the look of brown fantasy granite aka brown fantasy marble. This video is the closest to my vision (and I love what you did!).
@RK3Designs3 жыл бұрын
@@leehume9625 you bet. Just use 5-6 oz per sq foot, tape your edges and let the epoxy self level for about an hour. Then remove the tape and let flow over the edges. 😊

The video doesn't seem to portray the actual colors. In person this doesn't look beige. It looks rose colored. I was surprised that you didn't have pink or red in the mix somewhere. It looks amazing! Fantastic job!
