Tessa, I am late to the party a bit but just found out about your KZbin channel. Kudos to you, I loved everything about this and have shared it and recommended it on FB. The attention you put into creating the videos matches your other work, and it's filling a hole for artist-created content that I feel has so much possibility and opportunity. Please keep going and I'll look forward to more of what you have to offer, and I love your call for community and absolutely would love to be a part of that in whatever way I can.

I'm struggling with perfection,it just steals my joy and enthousiasm, and your videos really help me with that.I do too prefer to freehand my designs and try not to get caught up to what stitches to use to fill it.I appreciate your sharing of your process,it makes things easier for me.While I love embroidery,I feel there's so much structure and rules sometimes that really gets so overwhelming.Thank you for being so honest and open,I feel understood and seen.Sending you love from Greece!

Watching your shading technique is so helpful! I've never quite known how to do it, and my shading thus far has looked rather patchy and clumsy. The way you achieve the subtle shifts in color and texture makes sense now. Thank you so much for sharing your process! Absolutely beautiful work as always 🦋

omg I've been following you since 2017 I think and I love your hand embroidery and any crafts you do. I consider you a genius artist alongside personalities like van gogh and schiele. I don't want to sound too far-fetched, but I've seen and reviewed your work and that of artists at this level and I genuinely believe that what separates you is the date, leaving the three of you with something very similar in inspiration and talent. I will watch your videos religiously because seeing how you use color to make something that is always just stunning fascinates me and honestly always makes me a little bit happier. sorry for the bad english, i usually only read and listen in that language, i never write.

Aaaaaamazing! It is such fun to find your videos - been a fan on IG for a very long time, and wow - to get to soak up watching how you create these things is just incredible. My fave things - perfectly imperfect… you work quickly and don’t stress about each stitch… and it is refreshing and delightful. Love the cat captures and the feeling of just hanging out with you while you work. 😚

Oh WOW I love some of these books and want to binge buy a bunch of taschen books (or maybe search for some secondhand here in France). It interests me but my partner is also so interested in symbols and alchemy so I know he would love them too...we will just have to fight over which language to get them in! I have some foraging books that I really love the imagery in and of course it's also very useful when searching for wild foods! One in particular is Food for Free by Richard Mabey.

I started embroidering over covid and I'm such a fan of your style. That's kind of what I am currently trying to play with is having my own style that when you see it you know it's mine. That is part of why I love your work. I've never seen anything quite like it. Super glad you started a KZbin!!

This is fantastic. Thank you so much for doing it. I have been embroidering a denim tunic with flowers, leaves, butterflies, etc on it as well as some denim jeans with a snake and a burning heart on them. I also used ballpoint pen but the designs are mainly from my imagination. I have only been using 2 strands of embroidery thread for fear of making the embroidery too thick for the fabric. Now I have seen this, I wish I was doing them with 6 strands. How do you avoid a weight problem or a puckering problem when using all 6 strands, especially on thin cotton? (And, oh goodness, I wish I'd seen this before I began - it would all be going much more quickly with more strands, I think!)

I am reality excited to follow you on KZbin! I've been watching your work through Instagram and you have become a really big inspiration for me. Now watching your process gives me an idea of what other things I can work on and learn, hope you don't stop making this type of content :) I would LOVE to see a process on a more detailed embroidery work, like using different numbers of strands or combining a design with beadwork ✨🔥

Hi Tessa, I'm new to your channel and I’m excited that it popped out while I was scrolling youtube 🌿 I love you embroidery videos, your peaceful voice, and your channel is truly a great source of inspiration ❤️ What does the embroidery look like after washing the garment? Any funky changes? Or perhaps you have any tips how to wash clothes with embroidery? Thank you and season's greetings!

Hello Anna! thank you!! I think it depends on how you wash it- the more gentle the better and always with cold water! I prefer to hand wash in cold water and hang dry and then iron it out once its dry. I think machine wash is sometimes okay if its on a gentle setting and still cold water.
