The painting on the jeans jacket is so pretty. It gives retro 1980s-early 1990s vibes. The jeans jackets with painting and airbrushing back then were EXPENSIVE.

I love the June jacket especially how you paint it maybe a shooting star would look awesome in it I’m definitely gonna try doing the painting that’s amazing work With the blue shirt would it be nice if you do the strings on the sides as you’re doing it I was thinking the sides would be awesome to do when you get nice Criss crosse down the sides think I’m gonna try it because that that’s a great idea how to shorten or pull in a shirt With the red when you’re painting it at one point it look like roses and all you would’ve had to do was embellish the roses more but that’s what I saw when you’re painting the black leather jacket red on the sleeve I saw the roses popped up but then you painted over it the red is perfect for roses

Lol girl I couldn’t help but think “why didn’t she just use fabric glue & glitter OR rhinestones w hot glue for that sparkle shirt??” But I understand you’re also trying to work with what you have and I appreciate that! When I was a lot younger I’d do upcycle projects like this all the time! This is inspiring me to tap into that part of me again :) good luck with your move!!

Hahaha 😂😂 you’re so right, little rhinestones would’ve worked perfectly. Maybe I’ll actually go get those and try again. Thank you!!!

The Jean jacket 😮 soo good , nice video ! For the star shirt another good idea you could do is get some rhinestones and fabric glue or 36000 glue

Like your tutorial but you should put a warning on some materials are flammable so not good to put a flame to some material specially older ones as they were definitely flammable back in the day😂

If you’re going to do a refashion do it right. I can’t imagine just burning fabric to keep it from fraying. If the fabric has a high enough synthetic content to melt it to keep it from fraying it would be hard and plasticky. A melted edge would be hard and scratchy. If it’s a natural fiber it won’t stop it from fraying it will just burn.

For the jean jacket - you can cut out the painted panel and see a nice piece of fabric in there.

Take e 6000 glue and a tooth pick stick the tip of the pick in glue and make dots then sprinkle the glitter over the dot

Great job with the denim jacket. You would need to be a little artistic which im not so i wouldn't be able to do this. If I was doing something with a denim jacket i might cut the back panel out totally and sew some lace into it. Love all the things you have done

I’ve seen glittery hot glue, so that would have been a less messy way to go about that. It’s still messy tho. 😅 maybe get a bedazzler?
@justlanchen Жыл бұрын
wait WHAT! I kinda want that, that sounds so cool. Also a bedazzler probably would've worked way better 😂

Why flog junky new sewing machines with plastic gears when vintage machines are cheaper and much better?

So it seems like you’re not sewing anything because your machine was made by Fisher price
