This was a nice video, so many people still slating this game. Its nearly all I've played this year and I know its very flawed still but it feels so good to play. Just nice to have a break from the negativity

Yeah. I was talking to a friend and we sort of agree that I think it’s become a bit of a trend to slate forza just for the sake of it. When in reality, it’s really good. It does still have its quirks. But overall right now. It’s really grown into something great

@Flashms to be fair if we get a decent track I really don't mind waiting and in my opinion we can't complain at the content turn 10 have been adding. I think they are doing a decent job. My only real grumble with the game is still the ludicrous penalty system but I can live with it as annoying as it is.

I would have like to see more cars for the Aussie stuff but hey ho lol. The penalty system is not perfect but it’s far from being the worse. Coming from experience and others opinions from other games. So frustrating yes. But not the worst anymore lol.

This may be just my Personal opinion but with how much of a fuss the developers kicked up about track textures and surface change I’m expecting Prague or a street track so they can actually showcase that because we haven’t really got one to showcase that yet

So they add the same VF v8 supercar as the 2017 one with a different livery. But they dont add the FG Falcon v8 supercar that is totally different from the 2017 one.

This game is just weird. It drives good I guess. Thr tracks looks good, but the cars during replays look weird. As I was driving around Bathurst with the Darkhorse Mustang I notice the wheels still does that going dark when you hit 15mph. It's like before 15mph there is light and them when you hit 15mph it's like all of a sudden no light. The wheels transforms to dark like someone turned off the lights. No light reflection off the wheels. And at the start of the replay I was just reviving my engine but yet it shows me doing a burnout.

Mr. randomized name here that I've argued with back and forth since he created this account 7 months ago, just goes around to tell people this. Then, he goes on GT7 videos to spread lies. Lol. Track looks nice. It's nice to have it back finally. My only gripe about it, is that the night time racing at this track in FM has way too many flood lights and lamps everywhere. In real life, this track is really dark at night. T10 does this with a lot of tracks. FM became my favorite racer on console when it released in 2005 and I've been up to date since. I'll agree it is getting better with the new FM, but I still have to say...cars look like plastic still, and has many car inaccuracies as well. Some tracks inaccuracies too with oversized or flattened curbs. Materials like metal looking like plastic. I can go on. Mr. Random name, there are many racers out there. Not just FM. If it was an actual sim racer, it could be up there. PC has many more sims. Actual sims. King of racing games? That's your opinion. You can feel free to have it. It's only an opinion anyway.

@joescivic I cannot argue with what you are saying bud. A lot of what you say is very true. But improvements are being made slowly I might add. But improvements none the less. Yeah there are many more sims. I have had the luxury of trying as I am on pc. Each of the other titles also have their strengths and weaknesses. Whether people agree or not. Like you say it’s an opinion. For the fairness of forzas inaccuracies. I think the simcade is catering to both sides of the coin so if you want a real sim. On console it’s their isn’t many if any options while on pc we do have that luxury to choose. What’s your choice of poison for racing ???

I am gonna get roasted for this, but version after version, the same tracks are redone. It is beginning to be a tired trope that the game only gets about less than 50 tracks and then the game usually becomes vaporware. Every freaking game is doing doing. Trying to reinvent the chocolate bar. At some point are people not getting tired of this? Forza needs more tracks and they need more fictional ones. It does not take a einstein level IQ genius to come up with the idea of a new oval or several or a road course or city course that make sense. I know it's not forza horizon but they definitely need to shift from cars to tracks. We already have close to 600 hundred cars.... i think that this is more than a big enough.

Oh yeah we have been saying this for a long time. They need to drop a track pack and give us a good 5-10 new tracks. 1 new track every 2 months is slow work and by the time we have a decent amount of tracks to choose from the game will be 10 years old lmfao

@@Flashms Totally and now that EVO is coming and looks to be on par graphic wise to Forza, when it finally releases proper, people will drop forza like there is no tomorrow. People will mod that game in any which way possible and i think it will overtake everything else. There is close to a terrabyte if not more of content for the OG asseto, almost too much and you have to mod it way to hard to make it look good. Most of the track look like early unreal engine maps and even with the mods it looks pretty much. Only content from the last few years have good graphics, but we all know that. Automobilista is trying , they have revamped their UI to tru to save their game because i think they know that EVO is gonna wreck them. It is the same deal with them. They just did the real life track and never really went outside that box. That will cost them soon enough. Iracing is good for tracks but the graphics are looking tired. Strangely enough i think GT7 is the only game that does more tracks? ( Maybe?) i don't own a console but i think they are doing well and from what little i have or looked into, it looks very very good. Forza is also in desperate mode. You can smell it. Usually a company would not just give that much content freely. They can smell EVO coming and are trying to stay attractive by offering free content. It won't matter. Who would not like to take their car and drive a 100KM stretch of crazy road in a competitive way?. That is what Forza is missing. Putting that kind of stuff in a semi goofy game like horizon is not helping things.

Yeah evo does look good. It’s great to hear they worked hard with the modding community to build the game. Great choice from the devs. But If I remember correctly it will be pc first then ported to console later. I could be wrong of course. Yeah mods made the last game and I do believe they kept that in mind with the development of this one so like you say. It’ll be endless really Yeah I did the old super touring cars (purchase able mod and available to members if you want to see it) and did competition with lfm. Which was sick. I have not tried automobilista. Sadly. I did raceroom iracing and rennsport. Yeah iracing graphically is outdated. Cars look good though but the tracks to me are far too long in the tooth graphically. Well you may say that but the constant live service updates was planned so I would not say they are giving stuff away for that reason. But they intended it to be monthly updates which is one of the reasons why it’s on game pass to. Provides a contestant income which then they can provide these updates. Base game was empty. Which is why the term built from the ground up was created as they re engineered the engine so they can drag and drop new updates without to much of a problem. Of course the term was used incorrectly but the intention of live updates was always there. Yeah I do think we need more in forza. We shall see what ac evo brings. Never know we could all be wrong and it may be crap lmfao. These days haven’t held much optimism lmfao.

Very disappointing car list. No XY GTHO. No LJ XU-1. I will never understand why they think rarity is better than race history. No XY (that won Bathurst in 1971 and was the fastest 4 door sedan in the world) yet we get the XA GTHO because there's only 1 of them. Most Aussies have never heard of it. Everyone knows about the XY. I dare T10 to release the next Forza game and leave out the most iconic Mustangs and Camaros and see the reaction. You can't celebrate the history by leaving out the best cars. Same goes for tracks. Phillip Island would be an awesome track to race yet because nobody has heard of it it will probably never get added. Why can't we have nice things?

I play gt7 on the ps5 pro. These stupid idiots at polyphony digital downgraded our graphics in the previous update. The trees and foliage now look like paper cut-outs or blown up pixels like how you see in Halo guardians. Also you can still see that sh!tty pssr super resolution noise even when turned off!!!! I hope Forza Motorsport greatness destroys gt7 for doing this to us. I’m very very pissed I traded my Xbox for the bs.

How are you finding the PS5 Pro? worth the upgrade? Wow that is a downgrade, crikey what on earth is that about? is it a bug? Ill have to ask if others are getting this issue. I can understand bud, I mean without KZbin destroying the footage due to compression, I must say it does look good. Struggles a little with fast moving objects, but that's an optimisation issue. I am on PC and it does make a difference, i do not run raytracing as I don't really find it massively worth it.

@ yes I’m on ps5 pro, when in motion, images in the environment looks reduced quality. Cockpit view is narrower and can no longer see center steering wheel feeling closed-in, I’m beginning to see shimmering on trees and minor jagged edges on cars. I’m using oled tv I tried 120fps on and off resolution and framerate modes and pssr on and off all combination types and gt7 now looks worse than before the massive update. Before this update Gt7 image quality overall was light years ahead of Forza with high quality smooth images and movement. Other games such as Assetto corssa comp, test drive solar crown, forbidden west, Days gone, GOW ragnarock, TLOU2, is looking and plays way better than base ps5 though; better framerate and image quality. Games like Forbidden west is breath taking on the pro which makes me not regret the upgrade purchase. I’m specifically disappointed with GT7 for pulling this stunt. Others on ps may be too blind to see these subtle visual downgrade. I’m sure turn10 knows what is happening that is why I guess they took opportunity to enhance Bathurst visuals.

Sorry for the late reply. Been really ill. That sucks I would have expected it to be a little better. Of course not much better as it’s still the same parts. Just a little more optimised lol. Is it a pro bug??? Does it happen on the other console if you have one ??? Wonder if they forgot to update the game to cater for the ps5 pro while other devs are utilising this. I am on pc for forza so settings are on max and scaled so the quality is very high. Besides the KZbin compression destroying it after lmfao like you say though even from your perspective it looks so much better. Bathurst is a great example. It is visually stunning. I couldn’t believe the view from the top of the mountain looking over the track and beyond. I was taken away. There must be a bug or something with gt7 though I cannot understand why they would downscale the quality unless there is something in the background they cannot fix and is causing crashing issues etc. who knows. @ hey thanks for the conversation. The problem has been fixed by some silent update. It seems the super resolution PSSR which is optional was still effecting the game even when turned off. Looking closely you could see a dirty film of noise covering the beautiful gt7 picture which destroyed its image quality. I played Forza on Xbox series x although it is a very very beautiful game and look highly comparable to base ps5 in frame rate mode at 60fps. The ps5 pro set in high resolution and 120 fps, is in another league and is ment to compete with PC level performance and graphical quality. And you are right you can’t see the quality of ps5 pro on these KZbin videos. I’m glad to see Forza still optimizing to stay competitive and thank you for your time.

ah ok, glad they fixed it, I mean for something like that, really they should put out a post explaining, then people wont get confused. Communication from devs to the community is terrible, even though technology is better, makes you wonder lol Yeah the great thing about playstation, is there ability to really optimise and utilise the equipment they have, always has been the case. The power the devs can squeeze out of the machine is incredible. especially pushing 120fps thats impressive. Anytime, I always do my best to reply to everyone, and enjoy sparking up a convocation :D
