I was offered my dream program in UiT Tromso but the tution fee was NOK 255,000 per year. Sadly it was not affordable for me and had to decline the offer yesterday. Wish they were clear till now if the bill will be passed or not. Probably will apply for other countries next year where the study is affordable. Thanks Ama for keeping people up to date. So the most possible scenario is that they won't do anything about timeline of implementing fees and application deadline; hence letting time run out and keep us, the accepted students, deprived of free education from Norway. I was having high hopes with the country having one of the highest HDI. But, I was so wrong, this is outright racism. If they really cared about the true implementation of the fees, they would have waited till the bill becomes law and everyone has to compulsorily follow. If they really cared, they would have brought scholarship schemes to help us, also for them to get the best students from international market. However, they don't care about international (non-EEA/EU) students at all. They just don't want any of us anymore in their country. One of the most developed country with such a pathetic mentality.

its not like that they will keep stretching the timeline, the voting on bill is 23 , the decision day.on 23 we will know if law gets implemented or not.

So unprofessional!! We're missing deadlines for scholarships and even offers from other countries all because of Norway's uncertainty.. very disappointing and almost disrespectful for not valuing our time and resources

@Ama oslo u are misunderstanding-things now, the 2nd treatment takes place right after 3 days from first treatment.there is a hack why there is no date for 2nd treatment ,because if a bill gets rejected in 1st treatment then there is no 2nd treatment at all. It means 2nd treatment is conditional. You should be careful while informing others.

i applied for oslomet university and they send me a email that you got the seat about a month ago but they didnt send me the offer letter yet

yes today i got the offer they said that you will receive a msg on your student portal in the mid of may which let u know about your fees and u have to pay the fees within 2 weeks

Ive got the study offer from UiS and they've asked me to respond to the letter by accepting before 7th May 2023, and later to secure my seat , by paying the tuition fee and deposit money (NOK 150,000 & NOK 137,907) by 10th June 2023. No idea about the bank details for the transfer even after accepting the offer, nor any information regarding refund if the law isnt passed. Should I email the university of Stavanger regarding the same? Thanks and regards from Goa, India ❤✨️

That’s just so confusing! Yes. You should email them So you have an assurance of refund. Some schools might want to take a percent off if they will have to refund. So it’s best to be sure. Namaste 🙏🏽❤️
