UPDATE (#22): Bishop Fenwick (FCE): FENWICK ENTERING EMMANUEL/DUELING PRAYER SERVICES IN CHURCH

VIDEO 22. This short video cam is of Mr. Fenwick entering Emmanuel FCE, Morecambe, on Sunday, 25 August 2024. It "preserves and promotes" the truth as per the 9th commandment. The warden and another person engage Mr. Fenwick at the door. A police report had been filed against Mr. Fenwick from the preceding Sunday, 18 August 2024, for "intimidation, harassment, and intentional infliction of injury." A detective had investigated/is investigating. We have no further information. Will it go to the Magistrates' Office? The FCE's safeguarding officer was notified, and he defended Fenwick. This is video #22.
Video #22 shows the congregation's actions and reactions, with Fenwick trying to start a service while the rest of the congregation goes to a "safeguarded" area in the cafe on the other side of the church. The warden explicitly notes the safeguarding matter is in play. It is a fact---people have been injured, depressed, and outraged by Fenwick in violation of the 6th and 5th commandments (again).

I believe your point is absolutely correct. Christians should be loving, caring, honest, faithful, truthful and shine the Lord’s light. They also should be robust and firm and stand strong for what is right and truthful and hold out against what is plainly wrong. Too many times we confuse “love” in the Christian sense (as the Biblical and indeed C.S. Lewis definitions) for “affirmation” in the worldly sense, and too many times false teachers employ this affirmation trick. Thank you for your thought which I appreciated.

Pray into the situation folks. God can do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine. The church leadership needs our prayers now more than ever. We serve a living God, give Him the glory and trust in Him. We knew these times were coming and we know He is our deliverance.

The Bishop has lost his authority. If I were him, I'd resign. To have presided over such a catastrophic failure is a sure sign that the guy is past his best, and should retire to a life of prayer and reflection.

its a pity. Admission of failure is what it is to be a Christian. Mea Culpa, Mea Maxima Culpa. Kyrie Eleison. Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, have mercy on me, a sinner. Fenwick is setting himself up for a very hard fall. The purple shirt and pectoral cross mean nothing if we are not walking in the light and obedience of Christ, in gratitude and humility for his gracious forgiveness of our manifold sins and wickedness.

I’m not a CoE or Free Church member, I am a simple Christian. In love I have supported, as I am able, Rev Bret and his family in this hard time for them all as a dear family. However, dear one’s, can I remind you that John Fenwick also needs our prayers. I add that I am not in favour of having bishops or arch bishops, palaces and pointy hats, but my thoughts are that there should be reconciliation here and praying that John Fenwick repents and changes course for this is the way forward my brothers and sisters in Christ. I will also add that I do admire your coming together and your faithfulness. I live in a remote area of North Devon, but I so wish I could be with you. God Bless you all.

@@donaldveitch2158 Well, Donald, that’s not entirely the same as the point I was trying to get over. I am trying to suggest healing divisions, even if the opposing side has some ‘form’. I am sure this can be solved if you pray for him and act in love (which I am sure you all do but even though that may sound absurd at this time). It seems to me it is unlikely he would repent publicly, surely the first step is to pray together for him, and to show him you all care for him (despite his actions against you). You could do this when he visits? Then, if you do that in love and care for him as a person who might be lost, that you seek that he repents between him and the Lord Christ and returns to the love that all of you clearly show, then, you could even sit down together and be at peace together and speak as one fellowship together? You know, God changes people and that’s what it really takes, hard work, care and love from the hurt aide. It rarely comes from the instigator. I believe you can do this, although it is far, far easier for me to say it than for you all to do it, but I do believe you all really should. To do this does not make you wrong, it makes you even more in the right and that will also show through. God Bless you all.

Ezek.34 ... our church (astonishingly) is going through that too, young pastor with piece of paper but no heart & no shepherd anointing, is riding rough-shod over the flock ... a man's gift/anointing makes a way for him ... Brett has a gift/anointing & sheep will come to him like 'flies to a cowpat' ... Jesus is still Lord of this situation, & His Gospel will go out to the area ...

He like many Anglican Clergy cannot tolerate a junior colleague showing promise so will rather suppress them. Now we all know why the FCE was small. People like Fenwick wanted it so!

This may sound controversial, but neither Mr Fenwick nor Mr Murphy should be in that church because neither are Orthodox Evangelicals under the Canons of the Free Church of England. Both are Anglican Catholics against that infiltration the FCE was established in the wake of the Oxford Movement spread in the Church of England in the late 19th/early 20th century.

There is nothing right, wholesome or holy in all of this. There is nothing that would lead me to want to join the Free Church of England. Isn't it time that reconciliation took a more prominent position and that those who continue to post and stir such trouble pursued a different path? God help you all!

yes I get it ,I get what you say! but shouldn't you also be addressing the bishop with the same script as well , everyone is showing great concern in loving way for their minister , sometimes the air needs to be cleared in a Christian manor preferably behind closed doors in your opinion from the word go your speaking the church down by your comments ,then insult to injury your finishing phase" directly at the congregation, meaning these people have done wrong by your account your message is hardly helping the situation either taken the high ground I wish you peace and happiness
