Today on SHARKNEWZ! Hasbro Pulse sent out an email in regards to an UPDATE on the GIJOE CLASSIFIED HASLAB DRAGONFLY! Unfortunately, fans have to wait quite some time as the new estimated delivery date is a little longer than expected. They did say during the unboxing that it would be delayed so here we are. Waiting until Christmas is about the same time we got the HISS Tank as well but the only thing that disappoints me is no Wild Bill until then, been waiting for him to come into my collection forever. Thanks for the update as usual Shark!

I think this is more evidence that the layoffs earlier this year have affected their ability to produce product. Between delays and big box retailers seeming to order/carry less product, I think we are going to start to see a downturn in GI Joe Classified in particular, and Hasbro in general....

They said they brought it back to redo a piece because the plastic integrity wasn’t on par with what they wanted. Also production are subcontracted to factories overseas, they were never Hasbro employees.

Many other products have been pushed back as well (like Vamp and 60th Diver) for Europe customers so there must be production issues in general, not just a qc

@@ooklathemok2941 it’s not even just the Haslab at this point, with significant delays. The wave that has Doc and Jinx outside of countries in close proximity to China and I think Australia may have received the Doc and Jinx etc wave much earlier than the rest of the countries where they ship to. Whereas here in the US and since I’ve collected Classified this particular line has been the most inconsistent with its changing dates by most retail outlets. These figs were to have been out much earlier than projected (eg amzn US had all this wave ready to ship starting 5/31 then in week these things were to have shipped they moved out to August. Since then the retro carded beach head came in for a select few on amzn US in the past two week but I also had him preordered pretty close to when they started taking preorders for this wave and mine sat at order received into last Friday with no email or a ship date. I ended up having to go to an individual seller to get him Jinx and Doc and just cancelling all the other outlets I had this wave preordered because none of them had anything to ship still other than torch this wave was a logistical disaster for most non Asian markets by and large with a one off Walmart connect or amzn last week but those are small instances not the norm not for this Doc Jinx Torch etc wave. Not a good harbinger of things still to come which usually have shipped earlier on prior to this recent wave.

I got my email as well and I'm fine with the delays as long as it means a better end product. Sometimes things have to be tweaked before final production in order to prevent QC issues.

They are too far in to retool the actual DragonFly itself; I think. Unless there was something really bad. I hope it has more to do with Glenda is getting a fix up. It didn't receive a good reception.

My main issue with it being December is if it’ll show up before I go visit my family for Christmas. I don’t want to deal with a whole tracking it down thing if it doesn’t.

I agree with the Christmas comment. If they need longer than that okay, I’d be more upset if any of the figures came out like Firefly or if a certain missile didn’t fit, etc. It’s too big to have a mess up.

Delayed like the HISS tanks not getting in the US till November or early December timeframe . Second year in a row Thanks Shark! It’s not bad news, they do need to fix some things with the vehicle and some of the figs still and we’ve seen the Jinx Doc G’hyde wave play delay musical chairs unless you hit a retail outlet not named pulse and Amazon for this wave of preorders and have them all now already

I'm a little disappointed with the delay. I agree that I want the Dragonfly to be perfect considering the cost. I'm not making this a Valaverse vs Hasbro competition, but Valaverse has the Vanguard coming out in about six weeks and they didnt need 18 months to deliver their product. I understand the Vanguard may have not sold as many units as the Dragonfly, but Hasbro has considerable more weight to flex with these factories.

LOL I wasnt even expecting delivery before Nov Early Dec Anyway. Thats when the Hiss tank was released. They Had the Hiss Tank at SDCC last year with tiers except the COCO would have done a unboxing early then to but they lost the video file or something. We know they are doing a multipack like Hiss Fire Team for the dragonfly also that hasnt even been offered yet so know it would be timed out to release at same time frame so 3-5 month gap should have been seen coming

I sure hope that they fix Glenda's face. Digital renders had her in my top for best female head sculpts but the one that they showed during the unboxing made me cringe a little.

We have to accept it, however, it is an unacceptable request for them to put forth. First, theyre not going to delay putting out another haslab for us to back and spend more money on. The main reason is, they sell a specific amount of these based on backers, and they do not take any other orders. As such, the backers of these projects should be afforded at the very least: on time delivery and manufacturing of these projects! All just my opinion.

It IS tolerable BUT I have to caution that HASBRO WOULD HAVE MONEY ON TWO FUNDED PROJECTS FOR FIVE MONTHS WITH NO PRODUCT TO SHOW. Does it sound silly to ask that before a project launch is requested to be funded that the earlier project be sent out first? It’s like a perfect storm just waiting to happen. Maybe, just maybe, after the 2024 Haslab launch they should pause and do some serious soul searching about how the product is made and associated logistics. They’ve only been a company that made toys for how many years and still can’t seem to get it all right like Mattel. Seriously.

Sorry. Totally unacceptable. This was my first ( and possibly my last) Haslab and when that money is in their hands for the total project, production needs to begin. This is not a mass retail production product so the delivery date should have been met. You have only had a year on this. And whats going to happen in December when they tell us again; " We know we have promised you a December release and we know that some of you were already upset at the first delay but we want to give you the best product for your money so we are very sorry to announce that we have to delay the release of the Classified GIJOE Dragonfly yet again but we are hoping for a summer 2025-fall 2025 release date for you and we realize that we have the thousands of dollars invested into this project by all the backers but we already used it on another Haslab offering that we are asking you to invest your hard earned money into and wait another 1 -2 years for that release while you wait on your Dragonfly. Once again we apologize and hope you still will give us all your hard earned money so we can not fulfil your orders." I can tell you what will happen exactly at that point REFUND! Sorry but you did not meet expected delivery date!

I was really about DONE with this line as everyone that I really gave a crap about has been done...But REST BE ASSURED...IM ABSOLUTELY DONE with future HASLABS, because with ALL the wars that BRANDON seems to be behind rage on...HELL..you never know if you will EVER see any future successful HasLab Deliveries any damn way!!!!!
