This has me in tears. NO veteran should be homeless! My partner works as a substance abuse/mental health counselor. Too many vets are homeless, suffering from PTSD, and substance abusers. We NEED to respect, and honor our service men and women. They put themselves in harm’s way for those of us who never could.

in Germany, any veteran diagnosed with deployment-related C-PTSD or PTSD is immediately returned to "theoretical" service. Although he can no longer perform his services, he will receive support in the amount of his last salary, housing, medical care and therapeutic help for the rest of his life.

As a veteran, to see this fellow brother pour out his heart in the form of music strikes an emotional cord within. And what strikes even more emotional cords is to see fellow Americans reach to help veterans like him. I may be tough as nails at times, but these are the sort of acts of kindness that bring tears to my eyes. That despite the shortcomings of our government, there are people who care about us. To my fellow Americans, thank you for reaching out and giving a helping hand to Donald. God bless you, Donald!

I ran a construction company in the states years ago and I was like an Underground Railroad for absconding soldiers. They were coming home on break wanting to commit suicide saying they were killing innocent people woman and children for a lying murderous nation. That year I did everything I could to provide income and shelter for them to try help them get away. Each and every one was hunted down and I never heard from them again. I will never forget that year. Those guys didn’t care how much they were paid. They were much more concerned about what they were being paid for. I’m just sharing facts. Best of America? Most of them were hopeless kids from the trailer park near me. Just desperate for a way out. They got out alright. Way out.

+Scias How is it insulting? Not everyone can do everything. I'm so sick of you libtards in this world claiming that anyone can do literally anything if they try. No, they can't, which is why art of all kind has gone to shit. Everyone's emotions are coddled, and disbelief in criticism is rising daily. This man is gifted. Not everyone can walk up to an instrument they've never played and start playing. Everyone has different talents, due to everyone being individuals.

+SkizzlePiano Looks like another trendy libtard. The OP's comment indicates what kind of politics they hold, and liberalism is a mental disorder. Not everyone can ever play a piano like this no matter how hard they want and try. It's a fucking gift.

God bless this wonderful man! I've been on the streets; I know for a fact there's some amazingly talented people out there. So the next time you see someone looking dirty & scruffy wandering around, instead of harshly judging them, see them as a real person with real skills that no one notices because they don't take the time to find out. Me? I sing, write & play guitar. But would you stop and talk to me to find that out if I was homeless??
