value of the car to you FAR outweighs the damage, i'd be upgrading my home security ASAP, you KNOW whoever stole it is going to be cruising by because they're 100 avg. smart and are going to look for it, and know they got into your house once already

Don't forget they also could have mowed down a crowd while leaving a car show.... It is a Mustang after all. All kidding aside glad you were able to get it back and that the damage was relatively minor. I hope the thief/thieves get caught and punished but I'm guessing the chances of that are slim to none.

Glad you got your car back. I know that feeling of having someone break into your house. When I first bought my house, some one broke in and had stolen all my tools that were left at the house while I was working on it. Luckily I got most of them back but it still really sucks to have it happen.

Don’t forget to start it up or drive it around and make sure there is nothing mechanically wrong. You can see cosmetic stuff but just make sure it wasn’t parked for another reason!

Wow, that's awesome you got your car back! I definitely didn't expect that to be the case by prior experience. Make sure you get your home security system updated now to help prevent this in the future. Motion sensors, cameras etc... that notify you (and the authorities if you want) immediately of a tripped sensor etc... Also keep your keys locked up in a small safe that is not easily found.

So glad it turned up. It's a horrible feeling, my car was stolen as well once about 9 years ago. Luckily it was found the next day with no damage. But they did steal my 3DS and a pack of gum (those bastards, not my spearmint!). It was a '96 accord though so FAR less sexy than that beast you got.

Congrats on getting your car back! Hope however they got into your house and stole your car can be beefed up to hopefully prevent this from happening again. Thieves are well equipped this days especially with cars that have keyless entry but your car may not have had that feature. Best of luck getting your car back to prior condition. Years ago friend of mine had his Honda stolen from his work parking area and was found days later less than 0.5 mile away. Everything was gone-engine, transmission, seats, airbags, etc. basically just a body shell. Glad your car was intact!
