I remember we had a black & white cat we named Peanuts. We no sooner had the cat & he came down with a cold. The vet diagnosed it was the dreaded cat flu. I don’t think in those days vets knew much about ‘cat flu’. As the meds given didn’t solve it by stopping my kitty from being sick. My kitty got sicker & sicker also drooling like this. One of dad’s friend suggested a teaspoon of brandy. Well we had nothing more to lose as nothing else worked. Kitty was wrapped in towel to stop him fighting against us trying to help. After this horrible medication Peanuts crawled into a cupboard to get away from all his tormentors & comfort himself. Well as a family we were blown away as the next few days the cat’s health improved & began eating again.

Me and my husband adopt a lot of strays. Many cats have allergies, could it be that? One of our cats had severe allergies all of his life and had a special diet and an inhaler. The vets didn't really help him much but we had him for many years. Bless Luca, bless you.
