Love seeing how you "live" in your Bibles! I had decided I was only going to use my new leather large print Bible for reading only, but guess what?! I just HAD to decorate the front three pages of my Bible! Just didn't seem right to open my Bible & not see that it looked like mine! So I decorated those pages with beautiful quotes & flowers! Now it makes me happy to open it to read! I do plan to do some highlighting or underlining, but the paper is so thin I need to test some pens & highlighters on a page in the back. You inspire me so much, Sister Cat, and I thank God for you always! Blessings from me & Fireball kitty in VA! (p.s. I did give him a hug & kiss from aunty Cat & he just looked at me like he knew he was special & went back to sleep!) LOL! 🐈 I love getting to see your kitties when they make an appearance! I love CBP, I have The TCR wide margin from them and 4 handsize turquoise reference bible's, they have a wonderful dictionary and a great concordance

Wow these have jumped up above $220+ now 😮 I bought the full yapp in cranberry for Darcy a few years ago and paid around $159 . Even their ironed calfskin bibles are all above $100 now. I personally love her full yapped Tommy but that's getting pretty spendy. I know inflation has really hit some industries hard I'm not sure if CBP can move bibles at that price range anymore. Their structure is excellent but the paper on their text blocks doesn't compete in the $200 bible market. The Thomosons I assume are still leftovers from the Kirkbride closure and sale to Zondervan. I personally love those last prints they were nice . ...But I'm no snob I like the older thin paper and layout . The Zondies are cool bit they don't give me the fizz 😁

I 100% agree with you on the paper I had noooo probably paying that price and receiving it with a lower quality the paper. But when you bring the price way up and still have lower quality paper noooo good. It's not fair to us the customers

@catwoods5499 Have you noticed any of your CBP bibles with the synthetic liners going bad? I only have two CBP bibles in Iron calfskin I gave all my review bibles away ....But both of the ones I bought around 2015 have started to crack and peel away . I will not buy synthetic lined bibles anymore cause of it. It looks like leather and feels nice but they dry out like an old cheap purse . I'd rather have pigskin liners than fake stuff .

*Hello. I've recently watched several KZbin documentary videos of discovery of the buried city of Sodom & Gomorrah! IT'S VERY FASCINATING & EXCITING!!!! I checked in the archeology portion of my Kirkbride NASB 1993 Thompson Chain...and unfortunately, (under Sodom & Gomorrah) there are no photos of the Sulfer-Brimstone balls or any of the other interesting finds in back portion of the Thompson Chain. *I was wondering if any of the more updated bibles have any photos or interesting finds of Sodom & Gomorrah are in there. I surely hope there is! If anyone has an updated Thompson...let me know! 😇 Blessings*

Since you like to take notes Cat, I would advise you to use spiral notebooks to write in. Walmart sells 70 sheet spirals for like 45 cents each.

Lol ohhhh no noooo 🤣 I can't do that because I would than go down a rabbi hole that way and never move pass a verse 😊 I have several Notebook here. I just prefer to keep all my notes questions thoughts prayers and reflections all together in my Bible. If I put them in a separate notebook I won't ever look through it again

Wow sis, love what you've been doing! And this bible is gorgeous. I just bought one in the Cranberry Water Buffalo, it arrived and it's beautiful! Next one I hope will be like this one, because I can never get enough of the TCR. Are you doing this alongside the Chronological Bible/plan?

No I fell off the plan when God had me studying the whole book of Deuteronomy. I would say it's unfortunate but...but I have learned better than that. It's no more a fail if I don't succeed with a plan but instead it's important that I don't put the Bible down and follow wherever the Holy Spirit leads me. I have tons of ideas I want to do in my Bibles but it's just not the right season for it. Hope this makes sense 🥰
