That's really good news. They've really gone into her heart over the years that's for sure. 2 open hearts! It's great that she is able to do sport and get around so much. And I believe she is of smaller physical stature perhaps as a result. But one thing for sure-she has a very smart brain on her! That hasn't been affected! Hopefully now she will be feeling a lot better with more energy. Onwards!

She is a tough cookie and has done very well with her heart and learns to live within her limits. Sadly I don't think the procedure did much to help for now but maybe a little tweaking to help give her time until her Open Heart!

KZbin also showed me the reunion GMA. And then the surprise Christmas flight. And now this latest video! I have two friends who have had open heart work done as late teens. It is absolutely devastating and terrifying, no sugar coating it. But they are thriving decades later. Audrey has one awesome momma! Prayers for you and your family along this lifelong health journey! What a blessing to have found her twin and two see families with such a powerful new bond.

We are NOT a sugar coating kinda family. We have taught her to know her medical history and participate in her care. She answers all her medical questions and was endlessly praised for being so educated on her own health. This is her life illness and we can support her along the way.

@@JenniferDoering As a commercial pilot I went blind while flying an airplane over the Pacific Ocean. I flew in a circle on autopilot for 3 hours until my vision returned. In Cambodia I was chased by Khemer Rouge killers across rice fields while they shot at my brother and I. PIECE OF CAKE compared to how I felt waiting for Oanh Le (now Tracy Wichmann) my baby girl was in surgery. She's a grown woman now, but that protective parent in me hasn't gone away. I'm a parent...comes with the territory I guess.

Audrey is a pro at this stage...2 pulmonary stents, 2 pulmonary valves-one inside another an 2 artificial pulmonary conduits, 2 open hearts.....seems she does things in 2's

@@JenniferDoering ... too many! I hope one day you’ll explain in detail why she needs that many surgery and what it would do to her (her heart and pulmonary functions). Watching the video when she was still a toddler, with cold, with cheese in hand, playing with the family dog...it was obvious she was weak but very smart baby. Her breathing was a bit laboured. She was frail. What was wrong in her heart when she was born? Was there a missing part in the heart anatomy when she was born?
