Update on body recovered from Tempe Town Lake

Crews conducted three different dive operations on Monday and continued again on Tuesday morning. The person's body was recovered from the water around 7 a.m. Tuesday.

That's like the boy in the box case too, they did a big announcement that they finally knew who it was after 50 years or whatever it was. They spoke for like 5 seconds about the boy and the rest about them patting themselves on the back lol.

Seems that the reporters are asking the questions, and they have to describe in detail what all they do, for the fact for people to know that they shine all they could and to cover their departments. I'm glad they found the body so family and friends and have closure to mourn.

I swam in that water one time for the ironman race. It's so murky you can't even see your hands like 6 inches below the water. Makes me shutter just thinking about going in there. A few people I swam with got sick from it lol.

When I was younger me and my friends swam at a local park that was treated sewer water. We never got sick, we never drowned. However, looking back it totally grosses me out. 😂

Well, this is the first time Tempe pd & fire guys have even made an attempt to find someone that disappeared in this lake. Normally, Tempe pd / fire guys will not get their feet wet, they just let people drown! The only reason they made a half hearted attempt this time was because they caught so much flak from the last person they let drown because they didn’t want to get their feet wet! (Check the news reports from a year or so ago to see for yourself how Tempe pd let this guy drown, couldn’t even be bothered trying to rescue him, so they just watched him drown)! Where are the signs posted that should say “No Swimming Allowed”. This Tempe Town Lake is worse than the black hole of Calcutta (Kolkata)! The Tempe pd and fire guys could care less if you drown in this lake, therefore do not swim in it, as they will not make any attempt to rescue you. They will wait until you drown, then fetch your body out of the lake.
