Rick, always enjoy your shows. I bought this car from you in 2018. I still have it and it has never been in the shop still. It has been one of my best cars ever. Hi, just an FYI on the blue on the exhaust tips, that will polish of fairly easily, mother’s polish for aluminum/ stainless or a product called Blu - Job, it will come off. It amazes me how many people don’t clean or polish there exhaust tips. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the exhaust tip tip. I clean them all the time. It's not carbon buildup, but rather from heat. I'll give 'er a try.

@@brianharmon5989 understand, the bluing is heat, happens on motorcycles all the time, that’s where I found out about Blu-Job. But you know what I mean about the exhaust soot that I see often on others C8 and C7s as well. Good luck

Ask GM about the long delay emails on the status on your car , after you order a car. you get the initial email that your order was accepted and that is it. the car be built by the time you get another email it seem.

So Rick, my 2023 C8 coupe will be 2 years old July 25th...I have 6500 miles on it. So I am still under the 2 year DCT "free" service, not 3 years, correct? But my mileage is now between 6500-8500 to fall within GM parameters, correct?

Would love to drive our '23 HTC more but it makes it difficult when it's hot and no air conditioning. 6-8 weeks to get the replacing part. In addition, been waiting for months for a new DTC. Nothing like spending $100k (cash), have issues and then hearing that parts are unavailable. How long should it take to get replacement parts on basically a new car?

One reason I brought it to the purchasing dealer, good sized midwest dealer, but they (and Chevrolet) got my money and there isn't any incentive for them. Was going to purchase an Equinox EV but the Model Y is looking that much better now.

Man that sucks I too have a 23HTC no issues yet,had the DCT filter changed at 5700 miles along with the 2nd oil ,I read these threads and it Scares me w/ all the issues ,I spent $98K cash

@@stevedolan5065 Not yet. Needs four unsuccessful repairs, if the issue is complete failure with braking or steering, or 30 days being inoperable. The DTC whines but it's drivable, as the tech said "drive it as it's getting replaced".

Mirror dimming? My 1LT has none of that fancy stuff. Just “go fast” stuff. Maybe the guy can put a 1LT mirror on? 161 at Daytona! Impressive. I hit 160 in other cars on tracks but frankly doing my car will do that.

Found the exhaust tip bulletin 20-NA-061 addressing the discoloration. Excerpt- Important: Customers that choose to track their vehicle should expect the exhaust tips may turn blue due to the exhaust temperatures. The heat changes the color of the stainless steel and the bluing cannot be removed. This is a normal condition. Mufflers should not be replaced under warranty. This is not a defect in materials.
