I don't understand when asked if a judge presides over 2 cases, he says, "you see it sometimes in small towns but this is a big city". So justice depends on the size of the city now?

I think what he was getting at was that in a small town you're more likely to have the same judge more than once, because there may not be as many judges available. In a bigger city, you have more judges, so it's less likely to get the same one twice. I could be wrong, but that's kind of what I got from him saying that.

There are actually spin-off shows talking about others from the original series, that "Doc" guy for one. One thing I can say about this series is that it exposes the ugliness of people. Joe's definitely guilty of using people but that's not a crime. This Jeff Lowe guy seems to have used the situation to take Joe's business. I feel like he's back-peddling because this whole situation went way further than he ever imagined. I think Joe should do time "if" he killed animals but the whole murder plot thing seems "paper" thin. It seems like there's going to be "some" backlash but it won't be as ugly as when people go after our current president for all the crap he's set in motion. One thing is certain, "all" of them have milked this situation and a few of them have made real money off it.
