After watching soo many SWB Builds and Being an Ex Driver of the XLWB [LT35 Years ago] I was waiting for SOMEONE to build an XLWB Crafter and THIS BUILD LOOKS The Best i;ve seen. SUBBED/LIKED.

Mate, see the bit behind the badge, could that be done as a connector to run a roof top refrigeration unit like a trsco or asda van has? I'm trying to make my business delivery vehicle as nice as possible and I was going to put it behind the fuel filler flap that would normally be on the opposite side but now that I've seen your badge socket I quite like that.

Surely, with 5 people, full water tank, diesel, clothes, food, bikes ect, plus your refitting your going be well over the 1100 kg, you calculated for the build. I did notice when you put it on the weighbridge it was minus the driver, whenever ive been pulled, ive had to remain in the vehicle.

@@THQAutomotive will that bring it onto tachograph fitted, and regs ? Or class 2, 7.5 tonne licence? Not sure how it would affect it, with it be a new vehicle, i imagine its not a problem to register it as a camper is it ?

I really wanted a grafter but my driveway isn't big enough to accommodate it ,so I bought a brand new t6.1 high line lwb swamper camper van from van haven 👍

Absolutely love your conversions... And Rhales are amazing...the only problem for me is the lead time... How long are you looking at for a Crafter? I have not been able to find one with 5 seats and Fixed bed, shower and garage...

@@THQAutomotive Yep understandable... I have been looking for a couple of years but have had to wait for my final salary pension that comes in a couple of months... So looking at LWB Transporter with REIMO sliding bed... Not many around on the converted market...

@@THQAutomotive May I ask a quick question based upon your experience...? Is it possible to retrofit a REIMO sliding bed system in a Transporter that has already been converted? I need the space for storage as I am going to be living in it for at least the next 12 months...

@@LFC_since1970 they fixed into a bonded floor. You'd need to remove the whole conversion and refit it. You'd also need to take some depth off the cupboards as the Reimo floor with rails will sit higher.

R & J camper Solutions. The New Crafter swivels sell out before they even make them so they're not on the website. Give R&J a call and they'll add you to the waiting list.

Hi Andy. Did you lower it in the end? I see you went for swamper style wheels as I thought you were going for something similar to DCD Transporters lowered Crafter? Great looking van, especially the colour. Interesting technology in it too 👍🏻

Amazing looking vehicle. I'm looking at similar set up with tent box for mine. Need the tent before I position my maxfan. I've jumped ship from VW and now pilot a Boxer, it was the 6ft 9ish across that sold it for me. 😆
