From this and other comments I saw on similar videos about Portugal, it looks like Portuguese officials are sometimes bias and show less concern to foreigners especially if you don't speak the Portuguese language.

Hi Bayobi ... I got two SEF dates for my resident card( one was a link sent with my visa notification) the second one was a paper that came with my passport ). The one on the link is a closer date and another city( Portimoa )while the one on the paper is in Lisbon .which should I attend please??

I advice that you go for the closer date, so dt if there's issue, you still have another opportunity. Besides, the earlier you get ur resident card the more settled you are

I've been trying it automatically one month before expiration. It was only my husband who successfully did his own

@@bayobishow The automatic renewal function was activated in the third week of May and I still hear of some people doing it successfully few days ago. I suggest you try again it could still be open.
