I think you're correct to end it. The tileman format flags pretty quickly because the fundamental mechanic is solved once you can AFK grind a skill. All the strategy is in the beginning, and you had a great series on that. Looking forward to creative and enjoyable content from you in the future!

Agree it’s just an UIM once you can afk. Never fun to see a series cut short, but at least he’s honest about the game mode. Wonder how long other tile accounts out there can keep up the act.

Unpopular opinion it seems but I personally don’t understand the tile mode and don’t know why it got so popular, like you say you can just afk something and get as many tiles as you need.. huge fan and hope to see an awesome new series from you, I’m hoping settled gives us something new as well fuck that tile rubbish. I agree that in the end it's not an exciting game mode but the reason it became popular is because the very beginning is interesting. It's interesting to see people forced to pickpocket men while staying on a single square. Which is why it may have seemed initially that Pip's decision to start in Catherby seemed to provide something distinct from Settled's series... but then once they've plugged into RS's transportation systems it's literally just the same.

Yeah I never understood the tileman hype, even Settled was like in ep1 "I have to not wintertodt or I'd just be doing that" it was solved right away, the second you unlock afk decent xp it's just afk - play normally - afk, and just loop from there...

This makes sense dude. The concept is cool but even when Settled started it i sorta said the same. The concept dries up pretty fast. I think concepts of "Karamja only but i have 1000 tiles" or somethinbg like that is more interesting. Rather than grind-unlocking tiles.

Understandable but you had a goal which is quest cape. It's not normal UIM and you're not going for max skills, I would've rushed quest cape and quit the series lol *Also you could have rewarded yourself with 50-150 tiles for every quest point that you earn

I think part of the problem may have been playing as an ultimate Ironman. Makes it unnecessarily more difficult and stale as it is. Just a thought. Playing a super difficult game mode on top of being a tileman is like a set up to fail. I don't fully know how different the experience would be if you played it as a main but I imagine it's worlds more fun with the same base concept.

I played my tileman and just asked fully for a couple months to 95 combats so now I got 50k tiles and it feels like there no point to even having the plug in on cause I can afford to just play the game normally. It was fun in the beginning but Tillman not really built for endgame.

Goal of the account was quest cape, could have made it easier on yourself and just done that. Was waiting months for the next episode was my fav series, way better than McTile. was thinking u had so much done for it and was gonna upload something crazy. this exactly what I thought this whole time about tileman. tileman is interesting in the beginning but once you have good xp method you just print tiles and it takes no skill. no flame settles series is kinda cringe the way he says tiles are but then gimps him self training at sand crabs 24/7 and doing content way to early into the game to try to make it fun

Don't blame you at all. Tileman after a certain amount of time is just a regular account or a pointless grind fest. Only enjoyed your series at the start because of how much progress you put in each episode. Compare that to Settled's which honestly I find so dull. The only Tileman I've enjoyed was Rargh and Links PvP series and that's mainly coz it was time gated, and even they knew they had to have a half way reset by giving themselves a bunch of tiles so each episode wasn't just hours of grinding for tiles aka boring af. I think you've made the right call dropping this. Looking forward to some more main game content!

I'd even go to say this is a waste, given how runescape itself tends to be a chore (I mean just look at runecrafting before the minigame, sheeeeesh).
