It's like investing in gold - it just goes up, but you pay the premium of 10%, so you need to hold it for a while before it starts bringing profit. If you do that, make sure you make them tradeable before leaving them

dunno, is ranging from 5mil to 6 mil, im lvling ranged to 85 or more and going to use the new hunter xbow to try and get a fang, the new xbow have the same speed and damage as the Magic shortbow but you can equip a shield for defence and ranged bonuses, the bad thing is that ammo is more expensive than rune arrows and almost same price as amethyst

Any time is a good time to buy a blowpipe. It is anywhere from BiS to 2nd or 3rd best depending on the content and once you can wield it you will use it for basically all ranged combat until Bowfa and/or TBow. The price is sort of irrelevant TBH, at a certain point you will just need a blowpipe if you want to progress. If you’re weighing the blowpipe against other upgrades like the toxic trident or similar, then it will depend on the two upgrades you’re comparing and the type of content you’re interested in doing. But the blowpipe is a significant DPS increase over crossbows due to the attack speed (in most situations) so my guess is that it will provide you the most benefit of similarly priced upgrades for any content that can be done with range. If money is tight and the content you’re looking forward to doing doesn’t feature ranged combat at all then don’t get the blowpipe, otherwise it’s probably worth it to pick up.

Nothing is crashing. The market is correcting for the fact that most recent content was balanced around midgame, making the demand higher but also more elastic than when updates typically cater to endgame. Doing Moons for 10m/hr wasn't sustainable for long, as average med level pvm tends to be much closer to 1m to 4m. The price of those items has to go down, which has a general effect on all other similar content. You'd know if the market "crashed" if gp/xp prices went up or if end game hoarding items with limited elasticity suddenly changed.

The market is not crashing. It didn't crash before the 1% GE charge either. The market is REACTING to the number of high-level players in the game and their abilities. If there are only 1000 high level players able to boss effectively and get those drops, of course the price of those items will be high. If now there are 10x the number of high-level players bossing, of course the item value will come down! It's simple supply and demand! The community FREAKS every time there's a decrease in the PRICE of an item, not the market devaluing itself and 'crashing', and I think OSRS would be way better off with a hands off approach than instituting things like a 1% tax and such to basically inflate the price of things - particularly high-level items which just makes it that much harder for average players to obtain. If your bow goes from 1.5B to 500m over a few years, then maybe there isn't a problem, maybe there are more bows in circulation and that is OKAY and instead of artificially pumping prices, you introduce new content that makes the bow's valuation equal to 500m comparatively to the new items

Brother, markets crash because people react to real world situations. It is crashing by definition - if there were an osrs market index like the s&p 500 then we’d see its value going down. People “freaking out” is not automatically normative (i.e. theyre not saying “the market is crashing and it shouldn’t be”), rather the reaction is due to the realization of how their financial planning will have to readjust to the new market conditions. Let’s say someone is thinking about doing a 1gp to TBow series or something similar - 200+m variations in the TBow price could add a meaningful amount of hours onto the challenge. Market volatility introduces uncertainty that makes it hard for people to plan for the future, so we don’t like overly inflationary or deflationary environments because neither is stable enough to let people plan their spending and investments.

This was happening way before Leagues. In fact, the timing of Leagues is almost surely deliberate for their quarterly earnings to stay up to par with the others. Usually players slow down their engagement with the game in the beginning of the fall (northern hemisphere fall)
