Leah, your instructions are nice and clear. I can't afford the cost to update to version 6 so I'll have to stick with QCT 5 which I'm very happy with. I share this in case the Grace Company would like to know why some people can't/won't update.

You have this incorrect- there is no additional cost to update from QCT 5 to QCT 6. You just need to follow the steps at the beginning of this video to Update your software and you will have either QCT 6 Plus or QCT 6 Pro. There is no additional cost, unless you want to change levels and add more features.

Does the upgrade include all the extra edge to edge patterns

@@bettymaunder8647 I used my updated QCT 6 program just a couple days ago. I used it like normal to quilt my quilt and everything worked fine. However your question got me to thinking so I did some investigating and now I can tell you YES I indeed have the extra edge to edge patterns.🤩 I clicked on the Select Pattern button, clicked on Patterns folder, and then on the Edge to Edge folder. There's a bunch of designs, and folders from several designers including Leah and Karla. I also especially like that there's a folder named Zone Projects so I can delete old files. Thanks so much for asking the question!

My mother in law gifted me her Q’nique 14+, QCT program, surface and continuum frame…I know. Totally humbled that she blessed me. Having said that I’m having to teach myself through videos and tutorials. Leah, thank you so much for being a clear voice in almost an over abundance of information. Perhaps you could tell me if there are any online or in person classes to use the software.

where do I find the serial number- there was only the tiny box with the pink/coral label I would really like to get it registered I am designing my own paper pantographs on my lap top that is what I bought it for

Your best bet will be to update to QCT 6. If you have QCT 5 Beginnings, you will update to QCT 6 Plus. If you have QCT 5 Pro, you will update to QCT 6 Pro.
