Update: Walkaround and Cruising BMW E60 545i

Haven't been on here in a while so here's a walkaround with a quick look on the inside of the current set up, along with some driving clips from outside and inside the car.

What problems have you ran into so far?

Great to see you back! Love the interior change to black! Is it wrapped carbon and alcentera? M-sport interior look! Is the rear window deflector new? Love the car! Keep it up! You have got to replace the mirrors to a e60 m5. Its gonna change the whole car and seperate frim standard e60.

Thanks man! Yep a lot of suede and carbon pieces now. For now I have "M Style" mirrors with the wing and blue mirrors but one day I'm going to retrofit the winged mirrors from the E87s on it! I like them a bit better than the M5 ones.

He’s running the H pipe that’s why it has so much more rasp to it

Sounds like a beast, I’m planning to do some exhaust mods on my e61 545i, I was wondering what is the process to decat it, is it as simple as just gutting the cat out.

I wouldn't know about the N62 but for the M54 and onward (apparently) decats are hard as hell because they're exactly on the manifold and you gotta rip the entire engine out to do a good welding job. I just gutted mine, it's simpler, sounds good too.

i have one but just got it but one thing its pretty hard on gas if you like sport mode

They have some pricey issues but don't break down often. Mine was a money pit but never left me stranded. Just read up on N62 issues and fixes.
