The combo i really like in this deck is a 2 card combo, you need pre-preperation of rites and tefnuit in your hand. you need to activate pre-preperation of rites to get your ritual spell and your paladin of dark dragon. you activate your ritual spell and tribute your tefnuit from hand. the effect of tefnuit activates and you can special summon 1 normal dragon type monster from your deck but it's atk and def gets 0, so you special summon your labradorite dragon (your tuner of the deck) now you have labradorite dragon and your paladin of dark dragon on your field. and now you activate the effect of paladin of dark dragon and tribute itself to special summon red eyes darkness metal dragon from your deck. then you activte the effect of red eyes darkness metal dragon to special summon tefnuit from your grave. now on your field are: labradorite dragon, red eyes darkness metal dragon and tefnuit labradorite dragon is a lvl 6 tuner and tefnuit is also lvl 6. now you can special summon ultimaya tzolkin from your extra deck. and by setting 1 spell/trap card on your field you can special summon crystal wing or beelze or what ever you like. it must be a level 7 or 8 dragon type monster. if you are lucky you will also have red eyes fusion and you will have a really strong field on the first turn. this build gives lot of diversity with fusion- xyz- and synchro monsters in the extra deck. very fun and strong deck

I added Odd Eyes Raging to the extra deck, and you can easily use the red eyes flare to summon it. Super helpful if you want to nuke your opponents field for a chance to OTK

I personally like running the Gemini Fusion build. Catalyst field allows for free double summons of the gemini monsters. But not that bad of a deck, just some things I would personally do differently. Like Glow Up Bulb for example allows for insta crystal wing.

I don't like the jet build as much as kinka. You can still do the same opening plays with kinka, look up beast-eyes pendulum dragon. Also where arf thou becomes more important in kinka build. I like your first build better. I have topped many tournaments with blue-eyes and I can tell you those flares and summoned skull will give you dead hands. Either way hope this helps. Good decks!

Keep in mind the current ban list as you watch this; also he said you could play what you want in it, deck profiles don't have to be followed to the "t". While it isn't competitive enough for yugioh world championships, this deck can be useful for casual and local.

Azn Mayne put hieratic lvl 6 and labradite dragon ( the vanilla one tuner) so you can go to ultymaia and have a red eyes with crystal wing! also i put hermos to use the fusion red eyes black sword. instant POWER UP

don't run foolish burial, run dragon shrine. it'll let you ditch an extra red-eyes, which is good because red-eyes loves pulling dragons out of the grave, but it also lets you use arkbrave dragon without any high level dragons in your grave. Just load in a red-eyes black/flare dragon, then dump arkbrave and next turn you'll get your red-eyes.

Sergio Garcia For a number of reasons depending on the situation. Comet is good to beat over/crash into anything with 3500 or less attack while Greedy is good for beating over anything that can be targeted (it's effect reduces a monsters atk to zero while negating effects so you can say, beat over Utopia the Lightning to deal 3300 dmg). Other than that, depending on your build and in my case- having Fusion Recycling Plant, Comet gets a normal out the grave, and if you have the other piece in hand, you summon Archfiend alongside Greedy. Reduce an opponent's monster's atk to zero, attack with Archfiend for 3200, effect burn for 2400 without having to attack directly. Alternatively you can also get First of the Dragons instead of Archfiend. Greedy gets destroyed, nukes the field, but First is unaffected and Greedy comes back.

There are combos you can pull off with red eyes fusion that are OP on their own. Red eyes fusion to summon meteor black comet dragon, followed by sending red eyes darkness metal dragon or red eyes black metal dragon to the grave for its effect, then activating inferno fire blast and chaining spell reclamation to it so that you can activate it again allows you to deal insane amounts of damage to your opponent, wiping out 78,000 life points, all at the cost of not being able to attack with meteor black comet dragon that turn due to inferno fire blast's effect. Worth it if you ask me.

It's actually not. Red eyes fusion allows you to bring out a red eyes fusion monster, and then will make it's name become red eyes black dragon, allowing you to use inferno fire blast to deal damage to your opponent equal to that monsters original attack points. meteor black comet dragon's special ability allows you to send a red eyes monster from your deck or hand to the graveyard, and deal damage to your opponent equal to half the sent monsters attack points. Do the math, and do the research before saying that what someone's saying is complete bullshit. REd eyes fusion into meteor black, send darkness metal dragon to the graveyard to deal half of it's 2800 attack points as damage, for 1400 points. Then use inferno fire blast to deal damage to your opponent equal to the attack points of meteor black, whose name is treated as red eyes black dragon, but whose effect remains the same. Meteor black has 3200 attack points. 3200+1400=4600.

And if you chain spell reclimation to it, you can get inferno fire blast back through spell reclimations effect, and activate it again, dealing another 3200 points of damage. 4600+3200=7800.

Ok, I admit that i misread meteor black's attack points. And just about every OTK/FTK combo is difficult to get off, and can be interrupted. As for who would run spell reclamation and inferno fire blast in a non-otk deck, I remind you that i never once said what deck this combo was for, but merely that there were combos you could pull off with red eyes fusion that were OP. Also, in a red eyes deck, if built properly, there are cards that allow you to add a red eyes spell/trap card from your deck to your hand. red eyes insight and ritual of dark dragon come to mind as 2 of them.

And people could run inferno fire blast in a burn deck. just like they could with red eyes burn, something that i don't recommend unless you have a way to negate effect damage, as red eyes burn deals both players the destroyed red-eyes attack points as damage.

The deck can still use some improvement. You should consider adding in some red eyes fusion and inferno fire blast spells. red eyes fusion makes it easier to get out the fusion monsters by allowing you to send the material to your graveyard from your hand deck or field, but it also allows you to remove them from play in your graveyard, then the spell makes their name become red eyes black dragon, but the effects remain. Inferno fire blast allows you to target one red eyes black dragon you control, and deal damage to your opponent equal to it's original attack points, at the cost of that monsters attack during the battle phase. When used with red eyes fusion, you can deal at least 3200 points of damage to your opponent. More if you have multiple copies of inferno fire blast in your hand or used Red eyes fusion to summon Meteor Black Comet Dragon.

Ok. Sorry, i must have missed that card. I think it's also worth saying that Lord of the red, a red eyes support ritual monster, is an incredibly effective mosnter for disrupting your opponents strategies with it's effects. Might be worth looking into, but if you don't want rituals in your deck, then the fusions are still a powerhouse.

Hey Sam! You could play 2 copies of Black stone of legend and 1 copy of Kinka Byo. So you foolish burial your stone, normal summon Kinka Byo, then special summon stone with its effect. You can do this every turn because Kinka Byo is a spirit, and get a free red eyes every turn.

Can someone PLEASE explain to me WHY you would play 3 vanilla Red-Eyes Black Dragon AND ONLY 2 BLACK FLARE DRAGONS?! Like... why? I see a lot of red-eyes decks play it like that but Black Flare dragon is 100% better than the vanilla one because it can actually have an effect. If there is a reason why people play 3 vanilla and only 2 flare I NEED to know it because I can't imagine what it would be. Yes, Archfiend Black Skull Dragon needs a Red-eyes normal monster but you still only run 1 of those because you only run 1 Summoned Skull.
