This is the updated way to make bags on Assetto Corsa and its way better than the old way. The old video got blocked worldwide for about a week so I panicked and this is the video I came up with. I took down the old video as well because it was just a mess anyways, but now people can have actually cool bags on their car and not the animated ones that kinda sucked.

Hey man, nice video ! The problem is that if you do this to encrypted cars, they stuck at the ground and cannot move forward or backwards, i tested with 5 encrypted cars, same story. For the rest which are not everything is fine, happy new year

So it is only with encrypted cars? This seems like a very strange bug. I will have to try to replicate this myself, but this is very helpful to know. People seem to be having this issue but up until now I have had no clue why it was happening because in my tests I had not stumbled upon this bug.

If setting the ROD_LENGTH to min 0 and it isnt low enough. How do I make it go lower? I put the MIN to a negative number but didnt go any lower. Do I have to change both the crtl_setup as well as the lua?

You can make it negative as well, or you can change the base y in suspension.ini

Yeah there seems to be some issues with certain cars but I haven’t been able to figure out what the issue is exactly. Wish I could help.

I get an error/warning saying it fails to decrypt model and the car model will not look right and when i then press continue, the game loads but the car just looks like a bunch of triangle shapes put togethter. Do you know I can fix this?

this is because the car is encrypted. You need the latest version of CSP to use that car.

That’s because you changed the name of the folder the car is in. You can correct this if you hit analyze in content manager and if that doesn’t work, just hit replace sound and select the original car.

I did actually do this by using a tutorial for a start/stop button and changing the files etc to fit a "pshhhh" sound!

Yes you can change the extra switch in the ext_config and the script.lua to a different switch, A, B, C, etc

It really has to do more with the suspension geometry if you want to do that. That is a little too complicated to explain, and I know very little about this lol.

Only other question. When I put the header into car.ini it just makes the car slide back. No brake engagement and wheels just spin. Any info on that lol?

Sorry about the late response, sometimes KZbin doesn’t notify me when people respond to my comments. The wheels spinning issue seems to be an ongoing bug and nobody seems to know what’s causing it right now. I might do some investigation later this month when I have the time.

The sound going away is most likely a result of copying the car. Use content manager to replace the sound to the sound of the original car.

That line is basically assigning the extended physics to the car, which allows you to use the dynamic controllers
