I just learned that we get the 5 Speed Automated Manual transmission here in Germany, and not the 4 Speed Torque Converter Automatic. What an absolute shame.

Based on Aussie reviews, there is some confusion as to whether the Auto is a 4 speed Automated Manual or a 4 Speed Torque Converter Automatic. [p.s. I just ordered a Sport Auto. Melbourne. ]

The translation is a five speed AMT. The same manual translation with the AMT computer.

Nick. Thanks for your excellent review. I recently ordered a green '24 Kia Picanto Sport only for the fatter tyres and the more comfortable ride and softer material non leatherette seats for shopping. I think KIA AUSTRALIA should put the brighter lights from the top model onto the Sport to address what I see as a major safety issue. I'd gladly pay for the brighter lights.

I'm an old bloke and I just need the Picanto as a second car for shopping etc.. I ordered a base model in Adventurous Green. Why? Because the base Sport has a comfy ride. Melbourne.
