UPDATED BMW M135i | What has changed? (4K)

The BMW M135i has undergone a few small updates which promise to improve several areas. But the question is have they work?
The changes are not cosmetic so the overall look both inside and outside has not changed, the changes are underneath. New springs and dampers all round and set up changes inspired by the newer BMW 128Ti promise to make the M135i a more rewarding car to drive.

Matt. A masterclass in the 1 Series... This example looks fantastic. It is a true rival to the Golf R for sure. Call this the Masterpiece of the 1 Series. That said the 128 ti is probably the best value. Thank you, Matt.

It looks like a great car (my last BMW was the 330d MSport X-drive Auto). Reason I watched your video is that I had a fun time using the BMW on line configurator to spec. up an M135i X-Drive with an aim to order one within a couple of months. I agree the standard spec is not bad BUT I totally disagree it's got everything you need considering it is meant to be the "flagship" model of the 1 Series. For example - Electric Front Seats + Driver Memory is £825 Heated Steering Wheel is £165

Just got a M235 it’s a right laugh yeah we all know it’s not a proper RWD GT car but it’s a great little Hot Hatch

Same here! Apparently new builds start in July 2024. I guess they will start with LHD and eventually RHD . I'm guessing at the back end of the year or early 2025.

I have the 2020 f40 m135i . Exhaust sound is none. Any way I can get so.e pops and crackles in there? Like putting the new 2023 map on to make it sound the same?

Living in France I plan to buy a M135i, but from 2020 to avoid paying 20k€ ecologic taxes… I don’t find answers to my questions : can someone explain me the differences between the 2020 and the new 2024 model? I saw that CO2 emissions changed between 2019-2020-2021… but I don’t manage to understand why

@@SytnerTV Do they have the BMW quality interior & build quality plus hold the road well? I’m old school when I was growing up BMW was straight 6 & 3 series was smallest car. With emissions rules most cars are 2.0 turbo

100-200 times it almost a full second quicker aswel look on auto top nl they have tested new one and its faster than before also handles alot better my brother has the new one and he can plant it mid corner with no understeer other one people complained of understeer seems like more power it going to back wheels or something also farts on the upshift more than older model

Just a shame all the exhaust sound is completely fake and pumped through the speakers. The EU have killed real exhaust sound on new cars!

The only things that have changed are those which affect handling capability. That's why no-one cares. No-one in England is much interested in driving, just tech count and lease payment size.
