Hi John, just curious if you have the factory master cylinder still, and if you have issues with the clutch hanging halfway up after full throttle WOT shifts

Yes. I have experienced that at WOT. I have replaced it with an updated oem one. Also have made a video of the install and upgrades i did.

I think the updated Master Cylinder is the black one. The problematic one is the white one that you put back in.

I swapped the old res (top piece only) in so i can see my fluid level and color at a glance. The rest of it is the upgraded master cylinder. Having a black colored res is useless, cant see shit.

@@JohnFrancoNHThis, I did the same thing; I’m not sure why the newer replacements come with a black reservoir. Perhaps it’s a shortage in manufacturing materials, and/or maybe they swapped their OEM parts sourcing/manufacturing..? Either way, like you said, I swapped mine back to the factory one, since I can’t see my clutch fluid color in the black reservoir, obviously. Not sure if anyone would prefer that over the opaque plastic one…. unless you don’t care about maintaining your clutch hydraulics. Lol
