Ben, i’m a Sunderland fan and know exactly where we are and where we stand in relation to an auotomatic spot. I like the fact we’re being under played as promotion candidates. The pressure is off us. We’ve exceeded most fans expectations this seaaon so far. We’re a work in progress, and a club rising like a phoenix from the flames. Enzo’s signing is just the beginning, if we see a quality striker come in this window too then i think we can dare to dream. 🇵🇪🇵🇪

Blackburn fan here - think it's a fair assessment, and we've been better than anyone could've hoped for in the summer. Playoff push will depend on this transfer window - squad is thin and the signings so far (Dion Sanderson and Adam Forshaw) are a bit uninspiring. If we get a decent striker and winger I trust Eustace to put us in with a playoff sneak. Keep up the content!

There's no denying that we (Argyle) have been terrible this season but I feel desperately sorry for Rooney, he inherited a team low on confidence and battered with half the squad being injured. Now we have a new manager and as Brentford found out, the squad is rapidly getting back to full strength. I forecast a very different Argyle that will battle out of the relegation scrap.

I really think that you have nailed the top 4. Maybe Middlesbrough as well. The 6th spot is a tough call. WBAs managerial change has thrown a huge spanner in the works. But then doesn’t every change do that? Plymouth, Coventry and Millwall are all hoping for positive changes in their fortunes. Coventry have a good squad and I expect them to trend up. Maybe keeping their stars will be harder for both Plymouth and Millwall, with Esse definitely out of the door, the Lions need some shrewd recruitment in what is always a difficult window. QPR I think will have a strong end to the season and it’s just about Cardiff turning out more positive results to rescue their season. The teams below 12th are so hard to predict I don’t think I can do it! Great content as always!

Good video Ben and agree with your comments at the end. Lets face it if you were going to be biased against any championship team it would be Norwich and youve always been more than fair. In terms of position any of the top 12 could finish in the playoffs and any of the bottom 7 in the relegation places. I think the top 4 are nailed on again for the top 4 places so essentially its 8 clubs fighting over 2 playoff spots. Whatever happens its going to be another close call

Bristol City fan. I probably don't share quite the same level of confidence, though wouldn't rule out anything with us as I think we're kinda the Spurs of the Championship. I think we're potentially a couple of injuries away from being really short in certain positions - at left wing back, Cam Pring will be out for a while with a hamstring injury and whilst Hayden Roberts is fine, beyond that we're either testing young Elijah Morrison or changing formation altogether. It's also worrying we're so reliant on a 34 year old Nahki Wells up front. He's been good and selfless, but we probably need an upgrade and both Sinclair Armstrong and Fally Mayulu are either too young/raw or just plain not good enough at this moment in time. I'm sure a lot of fans would want us to go buy a striker now, though I'm not sure if we have the budget, or even if there's a good enough player that fits the brief out there. I can see up coughing and spluttering to a upper, mid table finish unfortunately, but hopefully will be pleasantly surprised.

The problem Sunderland fans have is that we are well aware that Le Fee, Mepham, Bellingham and possibly another one or two leave if we do not get promoted and next year we will not be any anywhere near as a result. I forgot you had us in 15th beginning of the season (Sunderland), personally had us top 6 but not top 2. With all that has happened and the sheer anount of unjuries the team has I am impressed we are fourth and able to pull away from 5th. The new signing of Le Fay (loan with contract to buy if promoted) will be interesting to see, also being linked with a lot of strikers which is the position we really need to fill - Isidor is exciting to watch but thenteam as a whole waste so many clear chances it is costing us points. Overall I think your list is fair with reasoned arguments for where you are placing teams, admitting some you think will finish higher but not wanting to be jumping back n forth so choosing the middle ground seems the right thing to do. I don't think your going to be massively off your pre season picks on at least 80% of the league, not sure how many pundits could get any closer than that. Cheers.

I think it all depends on Jan Signing, as top 4 could lose and gain players that could potentially tell there season. Last season, Leicester lost 11 games, and Leeds lost 10 (Ipswich lost 6). This season, so far, Burnley have lost 2, Leeds 3 ,Sheffield utd and Sundeland 4. We are well past half way and as a Leeds fan I am beginning to get visions of history repeating itself. It's going to take a high number in the 90s to make top two and at this stage I expected to be further in front. I can see us missing out again. Farke says there will be little movement in January, and the other three are strengthening their squads already. We desperately need a striker and a ten. It's clear to see the number of chances we miss. Leeds have to go to both Burnley and Sheffield United , which we have to get something from. This is beginning to look like Bielsa,s first season and last season. There are too many poor teams in this league for the top four to lose many games. So pesamistically, I predict 1st Burnley 98 points 2nd Sheff United 96 points Leeds 95 points and Sunderland 91 points. and the play off final result Sunderland 1 Leeds 0

The `Black Knight` from "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" could keep goal for Leeds better than Meslier. Second `Flaw` is Leeds collective mental strength. When the pressure is on - they aint! Cracked completely end of last season and I see History repeating itself this season. The Keeper position, they `could` do something about; performance under pressure- more difficult.
