Dealt with this like 2 years ago. Co-Workers soon to be ex-wife dragged me and four others to court saying we knew where her husband was keeping his money and property. Sad part was he got taxed heavily by the IRS, and to keep her from getting what was left he donated the rest at an orphanage that he supported. He deleted himself with in 6 months from her being vindictive.

Always always get a prenup. And get it to her at least 6 months before getting married. That way she can have a lawyer go over it. Never marry a woman who won't sign one. If she wants you to sign a marriage contract then she'll have no problem signing a prenup.

NEVER allow a woman to be a housewife. A SAHM who takes care of multiple children? Sure. But allowing a wife to not work and just do whatever she feels like breeds two things - entitlement and boredom. She’ll lack any respect for the effort and stress of working a professional job. Then the affair happens, followed by complaints that her husband works too much and doesn’t give her enough attention. This is insanely stupid. NEVER do this.

It was only two years of marriage. She would only be entitled to half of the gains during that time period. No need for hiding assets in another persons name (which I would” never do for many reasons). Just retain all premarital assets as yours. Two years and an affair for one of them - I don’t care how good the divorce lawyer is she’s not getting much

@@frankconley6321 you can appeal though and usually the judge will go with standard guidelines. They have a book they look up conditions and situation and results. It’s pretty cut and dried honestly.

@MarkLeel technically Tom did it first. In 09 is when Tom married Giselle so he had already changed all his assets prior. He was 31 when it happend but Hakimi did it in 2015 when he was 17-18. Had Tom gotten divorced before Hakimi it eouldve been known as the Brady
