I recommend you using a tangle teezer for detangling and then your denman brush for definition. Also a denman brush makes your hair shrink up, but if you like when it shrinks up it’s up to you. ✨

Great video!! You are doing a good job sis! If you are still trying for a full/voluminous look, here is my advice (this works for me🤷🏾‍♀️): Apply your leave in product in the shower Right after you rinse out your conditioner. If you can, do your whole WNG in the shower. After you apply all your products, shake your hair ALLLLLL around. I'm talking whiplash!! That helps me eliminate all parts/sections I may have had from detangling and get my curls organized. Plus, I find doing my hair sopping wet helps with the root to tip definition and the shaking helps the body/movement when dry. Lastly, diffuse (if you choose) upside down (or at least tilt your head to the side so the curls hang 90° from your head). Again, for body/volume. See you next video! 👋🏽👋🏽

I don't do hair typing, but we have similar hair. Alot of it but the strands are fine.. when Its wet the hair soaks up alot of water making the curls hang and appear less curly and then it dries up super tight, well for me, I have super tight curls and the ones around my edges in the front are slightly looser like most ppl, but u would never know that if you saw me right out of the shower. However, Bec of the way it acts I never do my hair on soaking wet hair I always let it dry a little bit in a tshirt and then do finger coils with 1 THICK product and a mousse if I know I'm finna be busy and want it to last more than 4 or 5 days . Always lift my hair over my head and then twirl my finger for that big look. If u want a fro look, do like a rod set or even a braid out on blown out/stretched hair. Hopefully it helped, like once I figured out I had alot of hair but fine strands I adjusted my styling techniques and now get bomb results. 1 way to know u have fine strands is, when its dry you have so much hair and then once u add water it decreases in size. ppl with thick strands add water and their hair just gets heavy 😂😂😂

A quick tip! Your curls are clumped together so try to separate them then pick your hair out :) More volume and your hair wont be flat .
