Here is a video that celebrates my 1,000 subscribers milestone by compiling an updated showcase of all my custom figures thus far (well, at least the ones I have already revealed 😎).

@@wer4599 no 3.75” clones yet! My old eyes probable cannot handle such a small scale. 🤣 But legos are real fun! That is one thing I actively avoid because I can easily get consumed into it! There is a shopping complex here in HK that sells lots and lots of legos and Lego mini figs. Lots of clones too!

Brother! You're not alone! Customizing clones has become my absolute obsession over the last two years! It all began with my daughter asking why we didn't have any of the named clones from the 501st or 212th, etc., in our collection? And, I thought to myself, "Yeah? Why don't we?" A little over two years later, and we have over 115 custom 6" clones in our collection! And we got sooo much inspiration from Ka-Bashed and from Centurions Corner! Both amazing artists! I love your customs. That 212th airborne trooper is amazing. I have a minor in architecture and it was originally my major. I also really like painting clones figures for the LEGION board game, and enjoy model making as a hobby. But architecture is too stressful as a career for me. I am trying to post more often I just put a video on my channel. I was introduced to Star Wars as a 6 year old when Revenge of The Sith came out. Over many years I bought into the hate for the prequels, but with Kenobi coming out, and all of the exciting references to the Clone Wars, my passion for the prequels and for clones in particular has been re-ignited. I also bought a Hot Toys 501st clone trooper last year, and like 15 clone figures and it was such an amazing past two years for Star Wars fans.

Great video, a true inspiration to all of us who love to customise clone troopers. I had around 50 of the original kenner 3.75" figures that i kept from my childhood, and have been collecting the remaining ones over the past 15 years. I got into black series around 2 years ago and was mainkly focussing on troopers from all the Star Wars media, but from watching the Clone Wars seasons my passion was really ignited for the Clone Troopers, and with only a few avaible from Hasbro and watching videos like yours i got into customising. Ha ha - i know the feeling about keeping your kids toys, i do the same with mine. I managed to keep my figures but did make the decision myself to sell all the orginal vehicles i had - all in great condition with orginal boxes (oh if only i knew then what o know know). Just finished repaint of arrc trooper echo into commander colt, and sergeant hound and grizzler - although i did use a 3d print of a massif to help. I hear your on OOTB on Sunday - looking forward to it.

That was before I started ordering from John Walker so it took me two weeks to sculpt a lot of things from scratch.

I had a few smaller star wars figures before that but I wasn't an action figure enthusiast by any means. When TFA was coming out, I liked the new trooper designs so I had to get one, and ever since then I have been collecting black series with a focus on the troopers.

We live in the uk, but my wife’s family lives in Hong Kong and to me HK Is the best place for collecting, when ever I come back my suitcase is alway mostly full of trinkets and toys I love it!! Please feel free to ask away! This is what I’m here for. For first time customs, I would recommend Fordo if you can get your hands on the bootleg clone captain. The base paint is pretty much there and you just need to find a way to fit it with pauldron, Kama, holster and view finder. Or, you can make the 327th Bly’s boys. There is a really good tutorial from “Darthbade” that covers the paint removal process, and Bly is selling for cheap now (although the shins are swapped on the newer reissue. Or Hauser is a popular choice-but Hasbro should be producing those real soon. Good luck!

Reason is to 1) support the guys like John Walker and skylu3d for their good work. 2) no room in my tiny apartment. 3) it has endless awesome possibilities, but then that will be a hole I cannot dig myself out of. Do you know of any 3d printed helmets out there that are made to fit over the clone head of the new clone figures?

Size wise they all fit in scale, but in order to install them you need a dremel to grind a hole that is slightly bigger than the ball joint. They all come different if it is custom printed. Then once you test it out and think it is the right position, take a bit of Vaseline and apply it onto the ball joint. Get some hot glue from glue gun and put a bit into the resin head (be careful not to put too much. Then with the helmet upside down you slowly insert the body (w ball joint) into the head. Hold it at the desire position for about 2 minutes and let the clue cool down. If done correctly the glue will form a socket around the ball joint and peg, while the Vaseline will prevent the glue from sticking onto the head itself allowing movement. Hope that helps. Best to test it on a figure that you don’t mind messing up just in case.
