there’s one more thing, in the new npc phillip in the bottom left of his menu there’s a new talisman that’s gives your bonus pest chance which you unlock by donating him pests, 25 unlocks the uncommon accessory, 100 unlocks the upgrade to a rare accessory and 200 unlocks the final upgrade to the talisman the epic upgrade.

I just want to say that choosing fly as a pest is actually the best pest not in terms of drops but in terms of farming contests. A fly has a 1% chance I belive to drop the last thing of wheat idk the name rn. If youre lucky enough u get a free diamond participation for a wheat contest.

Beady eyes gives +3 to pest drops making it the best. A two second kill difference from clipped wings vs more drops from beady eyes. Especially good on flies.

I hate pests. I love their benefits, but i hate how they for some reason spawn a lot more often during jacob's contests. It's either i ignore them and lose some farming fortune which could potentially make me lose my position in the long run, or i go and suck them and instantly lose my position. Where's the wiggle room?

try to lower your pest chance before contests by taking the pest hunter talisman out of your bag, you could also use the thing you buy from skymart to make pests less common if you wanted
